    A:  Hi Rhonda, Thank you for reaching out, and we hope you are in good health. To drain the washer you may run a test cycle. I have listed the steps below for a test cycle. 1. Load about 6 pounds of laundry into the tub. 2. Press the Power button to turn on your washer. 3. Select the Rinse+Spin cycle by turning the Cycle Selector. 4. Press the Start/Pause button to start the test cycle. 5. The washer should not rock or vibrate excessively when water is supplied or when washing or spinning, and should drain well during the spin cycle. I have shared the user manual link below.             Rusted. Stops when rinse cycle time.
            The inside of my washer has rusted so badly that all the enamel/paint is off and rust is falling into load each time. I bought it 4.75 years ago. Also, it stops every time it gets to the rinse cycle and beeps until I go and restart it. Drives a person crazy with all the beeping and loads take forever to finish. This morning a load was put in at 6am and finished at 11 am.

              This washer although it performed well for a few years is now rusty and has ruined many of our clothing items.

                Rust on top rim
                Purchased 4 years ago. The bleach area and some of the top rim is rusting. Apparently this is a very common issue with these washers. I’m very disappointed with this product.

                  NOTHING BUT A RUST BUCKET
                  Brought a washer 3years ago and it is rusting around the bleach compartment. Only use washer once a week. Home Depot Extended warranty does not cover rust and Samsung say it’s not their problem. WILL NOT BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS AGAIN.

                    Wouldn't trade mine for anything
                    I love my Samsung washer (I have owned several). To get my clothes clean (without streaks, etc) use the "deep fill" function. Be careful not to overfill the detergent & fabric softener dispenser (think less is better) and don't use pods (per owners manual). Make sure to run the auto-clean cycle when the light comes on.

                      I purchased this set thinking due to the load capacity it would clean my husband's dirty wash clothes wir ease. However I have been nothing but disappointed. This machine swisher clothes around so slow on heavy duty that my 85 year old Mom could hand wash better. My lightweight comforter fits inside with plenty of extra room and it still comes out dirty. I have to turn the dryer on at least twice to dry a normal sized load. The fabric softener drains out immediately when I close the drawer. Do NOT waste your money. One more thing to add, if you need service work done you better hope a Samsung technician lives close by.

                        Rusting after 3 years
                        I got this washer/dryer combo in Nov of 2017. I noticed a little rust on the inside ring starting last year. I finally got around to calling today because it’s getting so bad and the 5 year warranty I purchased doesn’t cover this apparently. It looks like crap and it’s literally deteriorating. Also, I purchased it for $449 then... definitely wouldn’t pay $899 now...

                          DO NOT BUY THIS WASHING MACHINE!
                          This washer has EXCESSIVE mold build up where I cannot see. It wasn't until I ran a wash with nothing inside (due to smell!) and found particles. Google search shows this is an issue for MANY Samsung washing machines. I now have to disassemble the washer & clean out the mold only to know that by design this will happen again. Needless to say, I'm very upset.

                            Awful machine!
                            We inherited this machine in our new house. Very quickly we noticed our clothes were not clean, and I saw what looked like mold in the detergent dispenser. I scrubbed for 3 days and got the surface clean, but apparently there was more that I couldn’t see. I ran the machine many times on clean cycles. With bleach. Again with vinegar and baking soda. Everything. Nothing worked. I ordered a new machine NOT Samsung. I will never use Samsung again. I should also mention it was very rusted.
