This video will walk you through the simple steps you must take in order to ensure a successful delivery and installation of your new Gas Range from The Home Depot.
Please ensure the following prior to delivery:
- New gas flex connection kit
- Natural gas line (no liquid propane hookups)
- 110V-grounded, 3-prong electrical outlet
- Gas shutoff directly behind the appliance
- Verify your existing electrical & water connections
- Empty & unplug your old appliance

Samsung's new gas slide-in range creates a custom, built-in look that blends in with your cabinetry. Its large capacity 5.8 cu. ft. interior lets you prepare large roasts and multiple dishes at once. Flexible Cooktop features burners of multiple shapes and sizes to accommodate any pot or pan.

AnswersYes - you can use a match or lighter to ignite the range top burners if the power is off since the burners are regulated by ordinary manual gas valves, but the oven is controlled by the electronics panel so it requires power to operate.

Inside of oven coating coming off and rusting
this range is beautiful however the quality is not. it is falling apary affer 3 years and samsung doesnt wartaty anything after a year even though this clearly is a defect. ibhave called and they said i have to purchase all tbe defective parts. the bottom of the oven coating is coming off and rusting. the grates and thr burner tops are also rusting. i have had several ovens that did not cost anywhere bear how expensive this was and the coating did not peel off the bottom and rust nor did any other pieces rust like this. i have hawd the self cleqning option to clean the inside and jtbhas made the peeling worse. very frustrating should have gone wirh another brand and will never purchase samsung anything again.

Beautiful & High-Tech!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the install wasn't quite what i expected for a "professional install" (from xpo/samsung) but after my electrician and plumber took care of me this new oven came to life! coming from my old electric this is amazing! pre-heats extremely fast, has many burner options and included both a probe as well as very nice cast-iron skillet. stainless steel finish appears to be very high-quality and wipes easily. so far, this has been a very-exciting purchase for us and can't wait to get cooking!

This is a beautiful range. Works great and love all the features including the warming drawer that can also be used to store cookie sheets etc. Heats perfectly and the extra BTU burners heat VERY quickly.

I love my new range. I was told that delivery could be delayed because of the current pandemic, but it was delivered on the specified date. My kitchen is being remodeled and the delivery guys worked with the contractors to install my range and refrigerator perfectly. I am not a great cook, so I am still experimenting with the many features of the range. I am totally satisfied with my new appliances.

We had a similar Samsung range for several years and remodeled the kitchen, so it was decided that an UPgraded range was justified! :) We LOVED the first stove and this new one takes cooking to a whole new level! It comes with a Wok grate, perfect for Stir Fry and many options and configurations! So many helpful tools for making great food!

Was pretty satisfied for first couple of years. Bought the range in June of 2017. After about 2 and a half years, the plastic piece surrounding one of the knobs broke off. Yes, it's plastic. Looks like metal, but is not. I called Samsung and they said I had to go through their parts supplier. Called the parts supplier and was told I can only buy the entire control assembly for over $200. Also, the chrome coating on the knobs are peeling off.

After a month using it, overall, I love this new range.
My only issue is the small back burner makes a whistling sound. It's not super loud but seems like there's an issue. Need to contact customer service because I didn't notice it within the 48 hour return period after delivery.
I clean the top and grates with a non-abrasive cleanser and rag after reading the reviews about scratching. So far so good.
