7.4 cu. ft. Champagne Gas Dryer with Sensor Dry

We purchased this 5 months ago but had to call for service. I use the clean cycle everytime the machine shows it is needed but found reside in clothes. Did a cycle with no clothes and found debris in washer. Serviceman stated this occurs in some washers and to put in bleach in it when using the cleaning cycle. I have never had to do this with any washer before so I am disappointed but it does wash clothes well as I like that it has no center agitator.

I finally convinced my husband to get a new one He wanted to buy a lower model but, like I told him I do the laundry for 5 people, I need a really heavy duty washer. This washer is that and more. I love all the different settings and features. You can hook it up to the app. I like the music it makes when its done. Overall, great buy.

only had this product a couple months and there is rust colored discharge stains all over the detergent cup. the plastic itself is dark brown and shows an oil sheen. not happy at all. also loud

We were blown away at all the technology and the various settings. I've never truly read a manual to a product before, but I wanted to wash my clothes correctly if I was going to join the 21st century of laundering. It really did not take me any time at all to learn the machine and I was quickly washing towels after it was installed. I love being able to adjust every setting from water temperature, the number of rinses, and even how soiled the laundry is so that I can cater each wash. I can honestly say that my clothes have never been cleaner and seriously feel softer than ever! I don’t know why it has taken so long for us to upgrade our laundry room, but I’m certainly never looking back!

this dryer has saved laundry in out house. we were using a 10 year old dryer before i was able to get this dryer. my old dryer was moved through 4 or 5 different houses.

the clothes come out so clean. i love that there is an option for bedding. i love the see-through lid. my kids also think this is amazing as well, so they now volunteer to do laundry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer to go along with the matching washer, Samsung model WA50R5200AW/US. It is a perfect match both in looks and in function. This unit is Samsung’s mid-range model and lacks the steam feature found on its higher-end models. At first, I thought this might be a deal breaker, but due to the very limited size of my laundry closet and the difficulty of finding a unit to fit, I went for it. The dryer and its matching washer were one of the few models on the market today that fit in my limited-space laundry closet. I replaced my older front-loaders, and boy am I glad I did! This dryer not only holds about three times as much as my old front-loader (it easily hold king size bedding – the entire set from sheets to comforter to mattress pad), but it also dries my clothes in about half the time. I never have to put clothes into the dryer for a second or third cycle. I attribute this to Samsung’s SenorDry technology. Essentially, the sensor inside the unit detects the dryness level and stops the unit when the clothes reach the selected level of dryness. To my surprise, the sensor setting works. Besides its s ten preset settings (normal, heavy duty, bedding, perm press, sanitize, delicates, quick dry, time dry, air fluff, and wrinkle release) the dryer features a wrinkle release feature. The wrinkle release setting adds extra time beyond your selected cycle to minimize wrinkles. It is a nice feature that seems to work best on those “wrinkle-free” dress shirts. Sadly, it does not work as well as Samsung’s steam units. There are also another 9 cycles that are combinations of the other cycles that adjust heat, time, and dryness level. The dryer door is reversible, meaning it can be installed to either side, which is great if you have a limited laundry space. I also liked that the dryer vent can be mounted four ways, which allows the unit to fit in even the tightest of spaces. There is also a lint sensor to let you know when you need to clean the filter, although I do it each time out of habit. Overall this is a solid machine that will suit most people. While it lacks the steam power of Samsung’s other models, the unique sensor dry makes up for it in terms of clothes dryness.

I went to this unit largely because the space of my laundry closet dictated a very limited size, and this unit met that criteria. I was a little worried that it did not have the high-end features I was used to. This washer is one of Samsung’s mid-range models in terms of features and price. However, my expectations were exceeded in almost every way, and I can honestly say this unit is better than my prior top of the line front loader. The clothes come out cleaner, with fewer wrinkles, and in a shorter amount of time. The huge 5.0 cubic feet capacity of the machine means I can do double the laundry I could see previously in one wash. The washer features a laundry sensor that determines how much laundry is in the unit and fills the water. The sensor works great filling the proper water each time without wasting unnecessary water. The unit has ten preset cycles, (normal, heavy duty, whites, bedding/waterproof, perm press, quick wash, delicates, rinse&spin, spin only, and self-clean), which is honestly more than I need. However, I was excited to see a bedding/waterproof cycle designed for washing mattress covers, comforters, and other heavy bedding. This is a great cycle and effectively cleans my King-size mattress cover and comforter with ease and even my dog’s bed covers. Seven additional cycles are combos of the other cycles, where you can adjust temperature and time. Compared to the old front loader, this washer is whisper quiet. You cannot hear it outside of my laundry closet, even on the spin cycle – a huge plus for doing laundry at night when the kids are sleeping. Unique to this unit is a water dispenser that effectively turns your washer into a laundry sink for pretreating or prewashing stains. Samsung calls the sink feature the Active WaterJet. It’s a great feature I use all the time. The self-closing lid is also a nice addition. The unit is efficient and Energy Star. I uses something like $9 a year in electricity. This machine is a beast and washes better than my very expensive front loaders. I would highly recommend this unit. I would buy it over many of the higher priced units.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung dryer is first off BEAUTIFUL and secondly the sensor dry feature is just amazing! I love the energy saving features if these machines! They turn off when not in use. It did take me a little while to figure out the load capacity in the dryer though. I had a load of blankets that took a while to dry but that is to be expected from A load of blankets! The musical tone after a load is adorable! I learn another exciting feature each use! I seriously love this set more than any other household appliance I have ever owned and I DEFINITELY recommend this to everyone I know!
