                Shame on Samsung
                Shame on Samsung... dryer just over 3 years old and drum rusted out and falling apart and it's a common issue. Well never recommend a Samsung appliance to anyone. Should have stayed with LG! Had a set for over 12 years still running perfect when we sold the house and them to the new owners. Read the reviews on this dryer. Very common issue.

                  JUNK - Dryer Lasted TWO Years - SEE PHOTO
                  i bought this dryer 2-3 years ago, so it's not under warranty any longer. them metal drum inside the dryer is coming apart and jagged. this is a problem for two reasons. first, it rips my clothes. we have had many many items rip and have throw away hundreds of dollars of clothing because of it. second, it knocks because the issue causes it not to spin properly. really frustrating.

                    owned 3 years in september and this happen all of a sudden. no help from samsung. the warranty ran out in september and i contacted the warranty company in november. very disappointed with this product. i have and still own several samsung products. wish samsung would make it right. i feel it is a defect in the machine itself and not from drying clothes.

                      Don’t waste your money
                      I am not sure if mine is the exact same model but this dryer is horrible. First of all it does not keep clothes from wrinkling at all like it is supposed to. Second it gets so hot that I worry it will catch fire. Finally the sensor doesn’t seem to work. If I try to use timed drying so I can turn the heat down, on some occasions it still gets extremely hot and on others it just randomly shuts off and I come back an hour later and my clothes are as wet as when I put the in there. This is very annoying. On the other hand if I leave it on one of the automatic drying options it will just keep adding time even though the clothes are dry and so hot you can’t touch them.

                        Falls apart shortly after warranty
                        Samsung has major issues currently. There is a class action lawsuit against them due to there product falling apart shortly after warranty. I have had my dryer for just over 2 years. It has been nothing but problems. It now has a large crack/tear/rip in the drum causing the product to be unusable. Samsung customer support is a joke and tells you there is nothing they can do. They gave me two options. Spend minimum $500 to replace drum or buy a new dryer. I will be buying a new dryer but it won't be a Samsung.

                          Beautiful color. When you start the machine, sometimes the timer is 100% accurate as it appears that it auto adjusts as needed. I love that it is pretty quiet. I bought mine with the pedestal which is great for my back.

                            Design and features are good, but low quality..
                            I bought Samsung appliance set for new home. We like the front loading design, and features it has. But "Start" button keep gets stuck inside and not popping back out. I noticed this issue when I used the machine for the 2nd time, so most likely it was there since I received it. Bought this machine thinking I can use it for a while, but not sure if it can last long when buttons begin to not respond promptly.

                                My spouse didn't want to get rid of our perfect 30 year old washer and dryer, but a kitchen and laundry addition allowed me to convince her. We are in love with the Samsung front loaders. Our dryer is directly on the floor (not raised). It handles a large quantity of clothes and can handle fancy settings or a simple timed setting (e.g. dry for 30 minutes). Hot heat is hot and other then towels, will very rarely use it. We have the steam feature hooked up, but we do not use it since we take our clothes out of the dryer when they are dry. So bottom line, this dryer does have some bells and whistles that we do not take advantage, however we still love it. Why - size, low noise level, efficient drying, large lint basket, easy controls. Oh, and the inside of the dryer has a light. Nice touch.
