Q:I read that you must purchase the compatible dryer if you plan on using this washer. Can you explain why a compatible dryer must be purchased as well? If we do not plan on stacking them, does it matter if we don?t have the compatible dryer?

Q:Can the configuration of the door swing be changed? For example washer door swings right dryer door swing left? Dryer vent left, washer drain right.
