Very disappointed in this oven.
I wanted to love this oven. It's only a few years old and I'm already having issues with it. The door gets stuck closed and I have to either jerk it to the left to get it to open, or open the top half of the door and manually unlock the bottom half. In addition, the thermostat for the top half of the oven does not work correctly. It will often tell me that the oven is up to temp when it is not. I have had to purchase a separate thermometer to ensure that the oven is at the temperature I need. Unfortunately the oven is past warranty and I am unable to get these issues fixed. In addition, the black stainless steel is simply a coating that is peeling off. While this is only cosmetic it should not be happening. The bottom half of the oven works great.

Grandma says “Buy something else”!
Typical SamSUCK product! After a year, the coating is chipping on the top of the stove and the seal- between the top of oven and oven door keeps coming out. Now, after 5 yrs, it runs fine but husband is replacing the strip. the chipped finish is very annoying, I’ve owned stoves for 45 years and this is the first time I’ve had this issue. This grandmother can’t wait to buy another oven - they are just so stinkin expensive so I’ll keep this SAMSUCK product until I can afford to buy another brand. Would not recommend.

Stove paint peeling
i bought this stove 1 year ago. i have taken very good care of it as it was very expensive. i cook a lot but also keep my appliances clean. i noticed the top of the stove is peeling and increases every time i cook and the stove gets hot. i am very disappointed as i thought i was buying a high quality product. i have samsung phones, tv's and a refrigerator. i am dissatisfied with this stoves quality. i need some sort of help before the stoves paint completely chips off/ peels off.

I can understand where you are coming from. No one wants to see their appliance in bad shape. Depending on the cleaner used, it could agitate the surface of the range. Range peeled of after just 3 months of use
after only 3 months of use, the range started to peel off on the surface above the knobs. the quality should be better for the price paid for this item.
tried to contact support and there was no way to get the local representative in my city, even tought they offer the service.

We love it!
We bought this range as part of a full remodeling of our kitchen (also done by The Home Depot). We love it. We are using it repeatedly every day while quarantining curing the COVID-19 pandemic. We have had no problems with it. That includes roasting, baking, sautéing. The flexibility is super welcome. The only issue is getting used to cleaning the top so much. We had a ceramic topped ranged before and that was easier to keep clean.
I had thought we were buying the dual-fuel version but ours is all gas. I've gotten used to that and really like having a full gas range.
Highly recommend it.

This oven will ruin your dinner
Buy this range if you like frustration in the kitchen. Consistently, this oven preheats then fails to maintain the heat after the door has been opened and food placed in. The fancy part is that the oven gives you zero indication that the temperature has dropped, leaving you to discover its flaw only when you pull your cold, uncooked food out to complete your perfectly timed family dinner. We've had this issue "repaired" twice, but this bad boy sticks to its old tricks! Enjoy!

DO NOT BUY THIS RANGE!!!! Bought this range three years ago(Oct 2016) and by the time you read this review we have had repairmen out no less than 10 times ... yes TEN TIMES... to repair this range. Below is the list of issues we have had:
1) Door sticks and won’t open ....door replaced, still an issue
2) Split door won’t open.... bracket replaced, still an issue
3) Upper oven, convection fans not working.... replaced, plastic fans, still not working right
4) Upper oven, not holding temperature .... thermostat replaced and still not holding or maintaining temperature on a consistent level
5) Range top center burner useless .... never gets griddle hot enough to cook anything much less pancakes.
Have several Samsung products, Refrigerator, washer and dryer and we have had issues with ALL OF THEM.... stay away from Samsung!
