When you wrap your ornaments up in tissue paper or newspaper, your ornaments are not as safe as you may think. Wrapping your ornaments in paper and placing them into boxes leads to ornaments breaking as well as becoming discolored from the acid in the very paper you used to try and protect those ornaments. On top of this, the wrapping process takes a long time to finish and unpack the next Christmas. The Two Tray Ornament Storage Bag is a durable storage container holding up to 48 (3 in.) ornaments. The two trays are lined with acid-free fabric to prevent damage and discoloration of your ornaments. In addition to carefully cradling each ornament, the trays are removable to make it easier to walk around the tree placing ornaments. Each year, you can easily view the ornament storage bag's contents through the large clear plastic window on the top of the bag. The durable polyester fabric will keep dust and moisture out. Q:Is the bottom reinforced? So if I pick up the tray the dividers actually keep the compartments separated?

A:  The trays are made out of some kind of cloth material and the sides feel like there is something in the cloth to make it sturdier. I put cardboard on the bottom of each tray to reinforce it better.The bottom only has the cloth material.

                        A:  The trays are not designed to be adjustable...however the prior version of the ornament storage case could be manipulated. Hard to explain clearly but I’ll try-the cardboard slats that interlock to form the grid used to come in two lengths matching the long and short sides of the case. If you leave all the long slats in place you can remove a short slat or two to create a larger compartment. The newer version of the cases came with all short slats, eliminating this possibility. But I called the company and they were able to provide me with longer replacements.
