A: I only knew about Schlage but it wouldn't work for me
A: I removed the lock and trashed it. I think Wink is a bait and switch tactic that roped us into thinking, we buy the hub and we are good. Schlage is is also involved with this deceitful tactic. Spent a lot of money to be fooled.
A: I use samsung smartthings hub. No issues and many options to add other automation. I will caution because other products like wyze are slowly expanding and much more affordable
A: There should be a matching serial number on your packaging of the unit.
A: The Schlage Connect must be paired with a Z-Wave hub to enable remote connectivity. Please see the Z-Wave hubs manufacturer's app to ensure it is available on the App store. If you have any other questions or require any further assistance, please reach out to Customer Care at 888-805-9837.
A: Whether or not it records who ( which code) opened the door depends entirely on what hub you connect it to.
A: The Camelot itself does not have an app. You need something like a SmartThings hub to use along with it and it’s app will track who entered the code and when.
A: Yes it does, I use it for my housekeeper, dog sitter etc. it’s easy to add and cancel codes as well.
A: You can see when the lock was locked or unlocked and whether it was done manually or with a code. I’m not certain if it reports separately for each code
A: Not sure which "App" you are referring to. Note there are multiple versions of this lock which look identical but have different "family" names under the SCHLAGE brand. The significant difference between these is that one uses a ZWAVE interface and I believe the other uses a Bluetooth interface. I have the ZWAVE units and as far as I know, Schlage offers no software or "App" for them at all. I don't know about the Bluetooth version. With the above in mind, the ZWAVE version is meant to interface with another system or software program, and it would be THAT system that tracks/reports the use of codes as you desire - the lock itself appears to have no internal capacity to do so. In my case, my home security system interfaces with my Schlage locks, and it DOES track and report their use (by user, time, etc...). Other software and systems I have also interface with these locks (and can open, close, and report their status) but they do NOT track users or use). Hope this answer helps.
A: Sorry, I just got this for a replacement of a broken older style. I have a home security system that monitors who and when someone enters
