Not Happy
Finally installed it a year and a half after buying it. Looks good. Keypad is cool. However the latch on the knob fell to pieces about a week later and I’m lucky I had a hidden key for my back door or else I would have been locked out of my house. Now I guess I’m going to have to see if I can get a replacement through the warranty and who knows how long that will take. I’m very frustraded about it.

This lock was the perfect answer for our VRBO guest cottage. Installation was simple and connecting to the internet was a snap. Easy to change codes via the app or just let someone in to clean without giving them a code via your phone. Will most likely purchase additional units for our other properties.

Our front door previously had a nice Baldwin lockset with separate handle, so installation was a breeze, since the door and jamb were already mortised to fit this lock. We've been using this lock for a few months now, and it's really been a nice quality-of-life improvement over the old deadbolt, since we can go out for a walk without the keys. Setup via the app was not too difficult, although your phone does need to be physically pretty close to the lock for things to work properly. One gotcha is that, while passcodes can be anywhere from 4-8 digits, every passcode you set up must have the same number of digits. This isn't super clear, so I had some trouble understanding why it wouldn't take a code I wanted to set up with a different number of digits than the first code I set up. I like that there are 3 ways to open the lock - key, passcode, or phone. And I also really like that you can set up some passcodes to only work on a set schedule. We have a night doula, and her passcode only works on the nights she works. Finally, I like the peace of mind that the autolock feature brings - as long as we get the door closed, it'll be locked! One drawback is how loud the mechanical lock mechanism is, but I think we'll get used to it.

It was easy to install with the video installation they offer after you down the app. I also purchased the adapter it lets me view who is coming in and out of the home. It's convenient you don't have to carry keys. My home has a different new look. I would def purchase it again. I love this product.

I absolutely love this lock, my wife wanted me to pick out a lock for our new front door and this thing is amazing. It looks rich and feels sturdy. It has so many features, and addition if you have kids sneaking to go outside love that feature. Also if there is forced entry it will tell you that through the schlage phone app.
