fell apart
after 5-6 years it just fell apart & eventually the interior handle fell off. i tried putting it back together a few times, but it would never stay together.

Changed colors
So love the look of this door handle. I have it and my front and back door. During the whole pandemic and even now still I have been spraying the handle wit lysol spray because it the only door that gets used everyday all day. I guess the spray did something and cause it to change colors no matter how much I was it n try and clean it.

PLASTIC screws? Really???
When did Schlage start making their beautiful F60 satin nickel camelot entry handleset with PLASTIC screws? Really???!! My husband just picked this up for me and I was shocked to discovered that the inside doorknob AND inside deadbolt thumb turn device come with a total of 4 PLASTIC screws...two for each device...and not satin nickel screws. The cheap substitute is shocking, and the misrepresentation is incredibly disappointing...especially since all images online show metal screws. What is the reasoning behind substituting plastic for metal...on a lock of all things!? An explanation would be nice....

The handleset package includes an installation hardware pack with metal screws. I believe you have mistaken the temporary plastic screws that affix the handleset to the packaging insert for the installation hardware. These temporary plastic screws are intended to be discarded once you remove the handleset from the box. Please contact our customer service department if you have any further questions or concerns. Disappointment!
I have had this door knob on my front door for about 6 months. It was aged bronze and now it is just aged. It looked great on my door when installed but now after a few months my new door looks good but the knob looks AWFUL.

Didn’t hold up
I suspect many of these reviews are created after installation and fail to take into consideration the durability of the product years after purchase. I purchased the satin nickel version about a few years ago. The finish is gone the product looks terrible. My door has a 5 foot overhang to keep it out of the elements. It looked great for the first 3 to 4 years, but after that I guess you have to buy a new one.
