I was so impressed with the Schlage Smart door lock that after I installed the first one I bought three more for my other outside doors. If you have installed a standard dead bolt before you will have no problems. It is important to follow the programming instructions and/or watch the programming video mentioned in the programming guide. I did and installation went without a hitch. My mom lives with us and she is always locking me out of the house so now I don't have to worry about taking my keys with me when I'm out in the yard. My mom likes the auto lock feature as it makes her feel secure that the doors are always locked.

I couldn’t be happier with this lock. I have the complete Ring alarm system. Ring has the Z-wave system. With the Ring as the main controller for the lock it was so simple and easy to set up and install. My wife and I have 4 kids at home. With the ring system they all have their own secret pass code. The system set up sets all the codes up for you. Each person has a unique code. They can use the Ring app to open the lock or enter in their code on the locks keypad. The Ring system is completly customizable. When a person unlocks the door it disarms the alarm system for you. The two work together perfectly. Buy it, you won’t be sorry.

I know have four Schlage
Camelot Satin Nickel Connect Smart Door Lock with Alarms in my home. Two of which I have had for two years. I have never had a problem with these locks connected through the Samsung SmartThings v2 hub. It is nice to be able to ensure the security of my home through an app and lock the doors if a family member forgets on there way out. Programming codes are easy and quick with the availability to assign codes to others such as the cleaning lady. The app allows me to also view the history of when the door is locked/unlocked and which code was used. The touchscreen is easy to input codes and easily recognizes each touch without problems. The programmable scenarios through the smartthings app allows me to set it up so that all four doors lock automatically every night at 9pm or by telling Amazon Echo Goodnight. No more having to go all the way out to the garage door to lock it. The only improvement for me would be a better code management within the app instead of having to program at each lock.

The door lock was super easy to install. I didnt have to shim or adjust anything. Just followed the directions and setup the codes. I especially like the auto locking feature. My family has peace of mind knowing the front door is always locked. No more hiding a key outside. Each family member has their own code to open the door.

Was looking for something on the different side, and something that I could stop having to get keys cut every time my kids seem to lose the keys (happens much more often than you would imagine). The coloring matched up with my exterior very well, and looks great installed. Installation is as simple as any deadbolt lock (if pre-drilled). The lock is a bit on the "noisy" side when in operation. You will definitely hear when someone is using the lock from almost any location in my home. Not a big issue since the lock is only used at certain times. So far it has held up to the weather and use very well. No fingerprints EVER on the keypad which is very nice. Also programming/clearing access codes is simple and straight forward. The interior box is a little on the large side, but it color matches my door so it is not as noticable. If this was mounted on a white door, you will definitely notice the lock box inside which may be a deterrent for some home owners.
