How to change battery
Thank you for reaching out. Our Sense locks feature an interior battery cover that, once removed, reveals a battery pack housing four AA batteries. To replace the batteries, simply unplug the battery pack from the top connector and remove it. Does the lockset work with a storm door? I had to modify our front door storm door to make a similar setup work. However, this time the main door and storm door are handed opposite.

I am renovating right now and don't have wi-fi or internet access, let alone electricity. Can I install and use as a regular lock with key or entry code for now and worry about making it a smartlock later? Thank you for your help!
Yes, you can install and use the Schlage Sense manually in the interim. You can also pair the lock directly to the Schlage Home app to program with more convenience, and pair the lock to Wi-Fi at a later time. I'm pretty sure you can
Simple answer is yes and yes. I have never used wifi or internet with this lock. They do provide a key, but I have always just used the code to unlock and it has worked great. Since I seem to have misplaced the key I will see how well it does with notifying me that the batteries are low! I've had it for over a year and I love it.
Does this interface with Ring?
