Can this trim be used outside? I am installing tiles on the outdoor stairs at the main entrance and looking for a edging to visually separate stairs. Need to know if these are suitable for outdoors and will last under New England weather (snow, ice, etc.)

Metal edging for tiled counter

I am interested in this product but I need a different size. I need 5/16 inch for tile size, not 3/8. Also I need a outside corner piece. Do sell other Rondec-Step metal edging sizes and also the outside corners. Thank You

I want to use 8 mm (~5/16ths) tile for a kitchen counter, and to install with ditra. Would the 3/8ths rondec step profile work, or do I need to use the 1/2" to allow for the ditra and thin set? Or should I skip the ditra? Thanks
