Do i use 5/16 since my tile is 5/16 or do I need to use bigger to compensate for thinset
Asked by cd September 24, 2020This profile works up to a 3/8" (10mm) thick tile. For selecting profile heights we suggest using the same height as the tile if available. If the tile is a large format tile (12"x12" or larger) we suggest going to the next size up to accommodate for the additional thin set for setting. Can you use product to frame large standard bathroom mirror
Asked by Lisa September 9, 2020Mostly used for edging of tile but it could be used to frame a mirror. Make sure u measure the thickness of the mirror and buy the width size of the strip that closest matches the width of the mirror but still is thick enough to cover the edge if the mirror. The edging should be just a lil thicker than the width of the mirror. Go to the official site of the manufacturer to see the different types of styles of edging and sizes available.

Asked by KT February 2, 2020I would say yes but be aware that there is a small raised rib on inside edge of form designed to keep edge away from inside surface (for grout to have uniform bead on end) that may impact what you are trying to achieve
