Product Details

Rondec is a finishing and edge-protection profile for tiled edges and outside wall corners. The reveal creates a rounded edge along the tile. It is ideal for finishing the edge of tiled backsplashes, countertops and niches. The Rondec profile has an integrated joint spacer which ensures a uniform grout joint between the tile and profile. Inside and outside corners for the Rondec profile are available separately.

      A:  Yes, this will work anywhere tile is placed. Makes a gr8 edge finish than just a grout bead, or even a bull-nosed tile. If u use a miter box & hack saw it miters very well.

        Q:Will the 3/8 inch tile edging work with 9 mm thick tile?

        A:  This profile works up to a 3/8" (10mm) thick tile. For selecting profile heights we suggest using the same height as the tile if available. If the tile is a large format tile (12"x12" or larger) we suggest going to the next size up to accommodate for the additional thin set for setting.           A:  Allowing for your thinset, it should work perfectly as the tile is .35" vs .375" bullnose.

          It may seem a bit expensive but comes out about the same if not cheaper as buying bullnose tile for your edging. I found that the polished tile I bought dose not come in bullnose. So I opted for this. Looks real nice. And I found that my tile saw cut the metal edging like butter. The corner pieces made buy Schluter are way too expensive so I didn't use those. But they do look nice.
