AnswersYes, the tub can be installed on a concrete slab foundation. The plumbing piping will need to be located and in place when the slab is poured. That will ensure that the piping is in the proper position under the tub when the tub is set in place.

AnswersPer the instruction manual, the flexible tube is not included nor does it mention the diameter of the tube. It did however note that the tub can accept a deck mount faucet (which is what I did). Thank you all who replied.

Let's be clear... the directions are barely any help. Installation will take a lot of planning for the drain and water feed lines. leveling the tub will be trial and error so be patient. This tub is excellent and fairly priced. I am 5'4" and fit very comfortably; my husband, 6'3", used it once and said it was comfortable for him, too. He said it was fairly easy to install, but it is wobbly. We have had to place pieces of wood underneath it right now for a temporary fix. But I love it and would recommend!

This was a nice freestanding tub for the price. I just finished installing it and my wife is very satisfied. Make sure you check your dimensions and are sure you can get it into the bathroom. I had to take it apart to get it in and then put it back together inside. The instructions recommend a flexible, accordion-style drain tubing, which is a terrible idea and will only produce grief the next time you need to run a snake down your bathtub drain. I highly recommend the OS&B ITD35 freestanding drain. You may have to move your drain pipe to accommodate a tub of this size but the final installation will be much easier. I ended up installing a freestanding tub filler, which I also recommend instead of drilling out the deck of the tub.

I love this tub!!! I chose it for our newly remodeled master bath. Even though I am not a bath taker, I knew we needed to add a tub for home re-sale reasons. This tub exceeded my expectations in terms of its beauty and comfort, and is the focal point of my new bathroom. I love its curvy contemporary lines and organic shape. I also love the lip on the top of the tub, which gives the buyer of choosing deck mounted faucet hardware rather than being forced to buy a floor mounted tub filler (which takes up more space in the bathroom, and tends to be much more expensive). The tub is soooo comfortable that I think I am actually going to start taking baths again! Highly recommend!!!

This tub is beautiful and I get so many compliments on it. It makes the bathroom. This was a remodel and my contractor had some trouble getting the drain to work. I think it was because he had to work with the existing drain in the floor. He wanted to give up but I kept insisting I wanted it. He got it to work and it’s great. I think it’s important where the P trap is located. The directions are helpful as well as their customer service.

If you love taking a bath then this is the perfect tub for you! It's got lots of room for you and your rubber ducky too! I'm 5'7" and can easily straighten my legs out in it and it's comfortable to lay my head back. Even if you're more of a shower person, you'll love the look of this tub in your bathroom and it might even entice you to break out the bubbles and (carefully) jump in! It's a gorgeous tub! It's modern, yet still compliments some of the farmhouse style I was going for when completing our bathroom remodel. It is so light-weight, I was able to help my husband carry it upstairs to our master bath. Our plumber didn't have any issues installing it but it did take a couple hours. As another review suggested, our plumber used caulking to mount it. We decided to use a deck mount faucet and had no problems installing (faucet is a 3-handle claw foot tub faucet, also purchased from Home Depot). Overall, I highly recommend this tub because it's spacious, beautiful, and was the lowest price offered (at the time we purchased).
