The handle knobs rust quickly
The inside knobs of the handle rusted badly within a month of use. Hinges and other fittings are okay.

Professional installers put two of these in. Difficult instructions to follow. Door leaks, so contacted manufacturer. Was sent 2 more identical plastic slides. Added silicone. Still leaking.

Thanks to Schon Mia design, the Ove Decors representative and my contractor, I could not be happier with my a bathroom remodel. My bathroom is small: the Ove Decors shower door made all the difference in the remodel. I put it on the Kholer 54" bathrtub. (As an aside: a January woman's magazine did a re-do of a same size bathroom with a large window (like my situation). I am pleased to report the semi-frame Schon Mia shower door made a bigger difference in my case.)

This turns out to be beautiful. But be careful to read (study) the instructions. The support at OVE Decors is very helpful; don't hesitate to call them, get the number from Home Depot.
A couple of things that I found needed some clarification:
-pg 9 of instructions step 8; putting the screw at 100mm is about 4 inches which is going to interfere with bracket go to either 2 inches or 6 inches.
-caulk (silicone) around part Q before you install the doors, also put caulk between tub and bottom of fixed door before you install the sliding door otherwise it won't be easy to get to afterwards.
-pg 11 step 6, part V is just temporarily used as a spacer; don't worry about it.
-part HH, caps, are not mentioned in instructions but are used to cover the large screw heads, pg 12 step 1
In photo, I used a temporary film cover to provide a modesty shield.
This really is a very attractive door and easy to clean with a squeegee.

The Mia 40 shower door looks very nice and changed the look of my guest bathroom!...instructions though are pretty vague. If your installing to a tub/shower unit I recommend using a fine grinder or file to round out the bottom of the vertical wall mounted track rail as seen in the photo for a better fit. Also, one of the hinges has a 'major' scratch or gouge that I'm hoping Schon will replace for me? Overall though I'm very happy with it!

From the specs of this product, you can already read that it’s pretty heavy, but I just want to reiterate this. We picked it up from HD and was still surprised at the weight. If you factor in all the packing to protect the panels in the box, it really does require two people to load and install. Once installed, I personally had to get used to the heavier sliding panel compared to my cheaper framed setup that we replaced. For the one side that you designate to be stationary, I would check and recheck to confirm if water spills out. After we being told that it was OK to start using, we had some adjusting to do when we saw water on the floor afterwards. Overall, it is very sturdy. We chose crystal clear glass, that once cleaned (you think it wasn't there!), allows you to look right through and see our quartz walls. It’s all an illusion, but walking in and seeing the walls almost makes it feel as though the bathroom is bigger. I would also recommend carefully cleaning the middle part of the glass that overlaps each other during installation. I could barely get my fingers and a paper towel in that space, and could see the contractor’s fingerprints.
