[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M,and the company recently sent me a free sample of Scotch Extreme Fasteners,1 in x 10 ft. I use the's extreme fasteners to keep my flatscreen tv safely on the table it sits on and it does not move around anymore.So it is strong and holds on to things well.I also used the fastener to close a pocket on my purse and it works great.The fastener is a very long strip that you cut to the size you want and then you just peel off the paper and stick it on the object you want to hold together,it is like velcro but better because nothing gets stuck oit or to it but the other side.I have a picture to show how we used it to secure my tv.You cannot really see the fastener's pieces but that is what good about it too.It blends in.

Living in Florida, it is difficult to find a product that will hold and stick in the Florida heat and humidity. We used this product to hang solar lights outside on our screen porch. Previous attempts have not lasted very long, they've been easy enough to put up, but fall off quickly due to the heat and humidity. This product seems to be sticking tightly; my husband has even mentioned using it to hang Christmas lights this year. Velcro products are expensive to purchase. This product comes with 10 feet of one inch Velcro rated to hold ten pounds. This much is enough for several large products and to have on hand in the garage for whenever it is needed so not only is it a pretty good deal but also one of those things you should just have in your garage along with a hammer and screw driver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. I didn't know they made a product this strong and it came at a perfect time. The wood panel on the front of my cabinets in front of my kitchen sink had come off when a plastic piece broke. I was unable to find a replacement and found that the wood was too hard to drill through or hammer a nail through and I couldn't figure out how I was going to put this back up. It is also supposed to be able to be removed when work is needed on the plumbing under the sink. When I received this I thought it was the perfect solution if it actually worked, but fully expected it to fall off within a few days. This is a heavy, solid piece of wood and it's on the sink where it gets wet every day. It has been up for awhile and still holds as strong as the first day I put it up. I am truly amazed and loving this product! It's holding strong but can be removed as needed and put right back when done and so much easier than any other options I had considered.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the sample for testing. I really like that it does not use the fuzzy side that other products use. Makes it stronger when fastening and less likely to wear down. Great to use in garage. The only thing I think could be better is the adhesive side. When i went to pull up portable curb it was the adhesive that came loose. I added a liquid adhesive to reinforce stick-em.

I like the way these fasten and unfasten. But the glue tape is weak. Has low tensil strenth. The loops hold good while the tape gives away if subject to a steady pull. But not all the time. Please research your glue a bit more. Thx!

Specifically, this was a great solution to remounting my EZ Pass device on my windshield. Velcro won’t stand up to heat. 3M dual lock has exceeded all expectations

I really wanted to use magnets to mount battery to an amplifier that I might be swinging or bouncing as I was walking. I ran my tests with the magnet and the battery kept falling off. I knew I didn’t want to use Velcro. I hate the tearing sound, and I know that Velcro wears out. This 3M extreme fastening tape gave me a completely worry free solution that will not accidentally break away. But was just as good is it’s easy to detach the battery with a quick snap. The clear beautifully matched the white surface of my amp just as it would, if I had the black against black. I am extremely happy with this alternate solution.
