Questions & Answers

can you use it for top dressing the lawn ?

Asked by: allen
Agree with most of the posts regarding topdressing. Way too much mulch especially for the advertising efforts. I would not use for topdressing unless you want to sift every bag Wont buy this product for topdressing again

how should this applied when over seeding a lawn? Should I use a spreader to evenly distribute the soil over the area or sprinkle by hand? Any best method or recommendations are appreciated.
Asked by: AJ
I did not try to put it on a spreader but i think you could easily do that. Before you do you maybe want to loosen it up a little bit by rubbing it between your hands. I opened my bags, dumped near the area i needed it spread, loosened it up a bit as i explained above and spread a thin layer with a rake as the image in the bag. Worked beautifully. Good luck.
