This product did not work at all
I have a bad infestation of dollar grass, along with patches of clover. I bought a bag of the Bonus S and applied it as directed using a Scott’s Broadcast spreader. I applied it twice within a month before night time temperatures dropped below 60 degrees. The product had no effect on either the dollar weed or the clover.
The directions say to use while actively growing, so I expected to see the spots infested with the weeds to turn brown after a couple of weeks. This didn’t happen and the weeds are still thriving.
I used Scott’s products on my lawn since I moved to this house in October, 2020. I used the recommended Scott’s products at the recommended times since I moved here. My lawn is green, but overall, has more weeds now than when the sod was installed in September, 2020. For what I spent for the Scotts fertilizers and weed and feeds, and broadcast spreader, I could have had a professional company come in.
These pictures were taken a year after I started using the Scott’s products, and only represent a small area of my lawn.
I will not be wasting any more of my money on Scott’s products anymore.

Dollarweed can be very difficult to completely eradicate, and it thrives in moist conditions. Reducing how often you water your lawn will help weaken it, making it more susceptible to weed controls. After three weeks the lawn looks a lot worse than it did before it did not kill any of the weeds

So my grass is dead and the clover, dollar and crab is green and bright after 2 weeks.. have a big lot bought 3 bags. Unreal! There goes $150 and my previously nice looking yard

This stuff is GREAT
I have used many different fertilizers on my yard and my sprinkler system maintenance man suggested this one. It is a little more expensive but so worth it. My yard was back to beautiful in two months.

Wouldn't Use Anything Else
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried to save a few dollars by using other "weed and feeds" but always come back to Bonus S. It is the only product I have used that can control dollar weed without burning the grass. Other brands seem to have no middle ground between not working and killing the St. Augustine. Scotts Turff Builder Southern Weed and Feed “ DONT BUY THIS!! it will burn lawn”
Ive lived in my new house for 4 years, 3 of them years ive been with True Green and they’ve done a great job, but during the Covid 19 we thought that we would save the money and do our lawn ourself, this is the first time that we used this product and we read all the directions and now our yard is burnt, its dead, very disappointed that i left True Green, we will be going back and ill never use this product again, and letting every one esle reading this review to not buy this product, it will kill your lawn!!!

I used Scotts Bonus S on my lawn to get...
I used Scotts Bonus S on my lawn to get rid of all the weeds that started to pop up. I used a hand spreader and was able to spread it in no time. Within a week the weeds were turning brown and my lawn looked greener.
