Not worth it.
The 32 x 80 inch door varied by as much as a 1/4 inch. Lots of trimming to square it up. The screen is not easily removable as the 8 screws holding it to the door are actually under the gasketing holding the screen to its frame. Sample photos attached. There is a definite lack of quality control in the manufacturing of these doors. Had the store been closer, I would have returned it.

Great, affordable door. Install was easy. Trimming the door was a bit difficult with a circular saw because I needed just a little bit off, but if you have a table saw it would be easier. I painted it and it looks great as a screen door from my garage. I bought a $20 hardware set and for less than $80 have a great looking door.

    Delicate built and edges
I bought the screen door from homwdepot and installed it. It worked fine intially but after using for a fee weeks, i realized the edge joints are too delicate and intended for heavy usage (patio). As you can see in the poc, one of the edge broke and the wood came apart. I wish i could get a refund or a replacemnt so I can add extra trim to both sides of the door and fasten the edge joints with metal.

Not a steel pet guard - but a plastic one
While the door looks very nice and seems sturdy, it was purchased because it had a steel pet guard - wish I had read the review from Kevin before purchasing. Needed the guard, as raccoons have torn through two screen doors already (one with pickets - the raccoons ripped the pickets out. Plastic will not cut it - and was false advertising... I did purchase the 36x80 version - maybe the 32x80 really does have steel???? Don't get the 36x80 expecting a steel pet guard.

I purchased this for the PetGuard feature. It has not only failed to meet my expectations, but it has failed to meet the description of the product entirely. This product is inconsistent with not only the tag attached but also the company statement on the door. The product is described and sold as having a "Heavy-Duty Pet Guard Steel Grille" in the bottom panel to protect the screen. I am not a metal expert but the material used in the bottom panel is not metal. It appears to be a plastic/vinyl fencing type of material similar to a garden fence or safety fence. I called back to multiple stores in the area and every door in stock had this cheap plastic "guard" on the bottom panel. This is not a HD issue as I contacted the customer service and they went above and beyond to attempt to resolve my issue. Customer service attempted to contact the company in order to check on if they would provide the steel grill for the doors I purchased. The manufacturer gave a less than satisfactory answer stating that the bottom portion is made with heavy-duty steel mesh material to help prevent clawing and tears and would be the only material they used for these model so they would not be able to provide an alternative item or corrective action. Again, the 2 doors I have, as well as all models in stock at my surrounding stores, did not have the "heavy duty steel grill" so this was not an acceptable explanation from the company. I will be returning this item in search of a different brand. If you are only wanting a screen door that offers no protection for pets then this might be a solution for you. I cannot recommend this product for providing any protection from active pets and daily use.

            Door has molded
We’ve only had this door for about three months now. We’ve had some heat and rain and the door swells and became warped. After a few days it would go back to normal but now it’s completely moldy. I’ve never seen a wooden door grow mold like this.

Needing a screen for the summer months only this door has held up with an 80 pound dog charging thru it if something outside catches her attention and scratching at it to come back in. I would recommend this screen door for anyone having animals and needing an affordable screen
