The classic schoolhouse light fixture has been an American icon for almost 90-years. The Academy collection from Sea Gull Lighting is today's interpretation of these utilitarian lights which have enjoyed resurgence in popularity given their clean, versatile design. Today, top designers regularly select this ubiquitous look for applications in almost every room of the house. Available in chrome, brushed nickel, bronze and heirloom bronze finishes. Many of the fixtures are available with incandescent lamping or ENERGY STAR-qualified LED lamping. The Academy collection includes pendants in 4 sizes, semi-flush ceiling fixtures in 2 sizes, and 1-light, 2-light, 3-light and 4-light wall/bath fixtures. Damp listed. Most of these fixtures easily convert to LED by purchasing LED replacement lamps sold separately.

beautiful bright white school house look
Bought sight unseen. This one s a very happy one GIVES OFF BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT. May be too big for my kitchen over sink but hard doing sight unseen ...... i love the light and wasnt sure to buy a smaller as this was the style and brand i wanted hard to judge size as i did it all on my own. Everything was sight unseen. ......THIS IS THE DOWNFALL OF BUYING OFF COMPUTER. but i am happy as i wanted this shape and complimented the lights in my bathroom that was school house. I have installed many of these in my 1902’s rentals....
I have installed many of these in my 1902’s rentals. We use them in the kitchen hallways and bathrooms. They looks really cute with the other period correct details. I wish they cost a little less, but they are a good product.
