How do you replace the light blub?

AnswerHello, Val, you would need to lift the plastic cap, loosen the round nut on top of the fixture cup and then, release the fixture cup. Then, unseat the fitter from the glass to get to the socket. To reassemble, Place fitter into globe. Seat fitter in position, drop fixture cup, and secure with round nut and plastic cap.

Disappointed
Unfortunately I have to buy another one because this one got dropped as it came out of the box and broke. Not the glass, another piece, and our local Home Depot said they couldn't replace the part and I would have to buy a new one.

Classic lights, slightly chintzy quality
These would be five stars if the quality were just 20% better. The plastic screw caps at either end of the cord look a little shoddy, and each of the four lights I bought have visible flaws in the glass -- either air bubbles or dark patches where the glass is thicker than the rest fo the globe. But, the design is classic and they look great if you don't inspect them too closely.
