64 oz. Clean N-Etch Etching Solution

Hoping this review will help anyone experiencing "bubbles" in the primer and/or paint while painting their OLD METAL ROOF. I spent days and days hanging from a ladder hung from the peak of my high pitched roof, power washing, then scraping and scraping and brushing, sanding then washing with TSP drying then finally priming, only to get many,many bubbles appear as the primer was drying! Tried vinagear, even changed recommended primer with NO solution showing in the finished product. ....................... THIS proved to be the FIX!............................ It took me 50-60 extra hours of work to find this solution, no easy task for my 63 year old body , hanging in unbalanced and awkward positions. Cant tell you how relieved I was to find the solution!! The prep work is easily 2/3 of the total time requirement in the process of completing the paint job , on my metal roof that hadn't been properly painted in 40 years!! Previous owner(poor guy) only had 1 arm!! After all the extra hours of work , I would have gladly paid 100's of dollars to know of this solution......I was about frustrated enough to replace my whole roof with framing and shingles. Don't remember exactly where I got the idea to try this solution but it WORKS every panel I do now!! HOPE this review helps you , "seal-crete" is a godsend for me!!

We wanted to remove stains (possibly fat and oil from BBQ grill) and then paint an outside cement patio. It was 25 years old and sealed when poured. I pressure washed the patio, applied the Solution and scrubbed with a hard bristle brush and rinsed it off; reapplied the Solution a second time and also rinsed it off according to the directions. It did NOT remove the stains nor was the sealant removed. My next attempt is to either grind or sand blast the surface.

I used an tire 64oz jug of clean n etch on 200 sq ft of concrete. Very little bubbling /acidic reaction. Scrubbed my arms off with a hard bristled acid brush. Did not meet my expectations for cleaning or etching. Only gave 2 stars because it did remove 80% of most rust stains, otherwise it would be 1 start. Will have to find a better product and start from scratch.

Used on basement floor. You have to rinse with water which can be an issue with clean up. I don't feel like it covers the square footage listed and It didn't bubble all that much. Did appear to work though.

Easy to use. U can see it work . Buy more than U think u will need. Jo
