AnswerHello! Our Sengled Snap bulbs use a standard E26 light bulb base, however, the bulb is a PAR38 style bulb which does make it larger around and may not fit into fixtures not meant for flood lights. Thanks! Sengled USA
What is the range for the motion detection

AnswerHi Dylan, The motion detection on the Snap is based on pixel differentiation. This means, the Snap will register a basic motion detection event when it realizes what it is looking at has changed. Because of this, the detection range of the Snap is subjective. Since it does not have the limitation of hardware based motion detection, there is no set maximum feet at which the Snap may detect motion. The range at which the Snap detects motion will also depend on the motion detection settings you have chosen and the angle at which the Snap is positioned. We hope this helps. AnswerThe LED is rated for 25,000 hours. Once the bulb burns out, if it is still within the one year limited warranty we will be happy to replace it. The LED is covered within the warranty. Because the Snap cannot be taken apart to insert a new LED we would need to replace the entire unit.
My Wifi is iffy. Can this camera be connected directly to a PC?

I bought 2 units for front and back of house. They work great when first installed. Both died after about 2 years of use and fell outside warranty period. One camera the LED light and camera all of a sudden stopped working. The other the camera stopped working. These products seem to have a short product life compared to other wireless camera security systems. Firmware updates also frequently tend to get stuck or fail to install. Product is great concept but, fails to deliver on quality and long-term use.

Purchased this tonight and it was an easy install - until I discovered that the unit was already registered to someone else. I'm going to guess this was a return and that Home Depot just packaged it back up and put it out on the shelf. Well, surprise, no one will be able to use it since whoever returned it didn't have the courtesy to remove it from their account. It goes back to Home Depot tomorrow. It was the last one they had out so guess I'll be purchasing it elsewhere and making sure it's brand new.
