A:  Not sure I understand your question? I ordered the pex a vs b cause A has more flexibility it is best freeze resistance, and it is non-oxygen barrier pex so that makes it also usable with potable water. Hope this helps answer your question. regular shark bite fittings work on this. Our local store did not carry this in stock I had to order.

        by|May 29, 2022

A:  Hi, When working with SharkBite 1/2 in. x 100 ft. Coil Blue PEX-A Pipe you can use four different connection methods. We have push-to-connect, barbed fittings that are brass or polymer. When using the barbed fittings you will need a copper crimp ring or a stainless steel clamp ring. We also have expansion fittings. I've attached the installation manual for our PEX pipe and our SharkBite fittings. If you have any more questions you can call tech support at 877-700-4242. Leaves a bad taste in the water.
Easy to work with, but leaves a horrible taste in the water. I'm hoping that the taste will go away in time. For the time being, I'm using bottled water for cooking and drinking.

              Good option for a repipe
Ok, the pipe is solid, no real issues. The pipe does have a really strong smell and you need to run the water for about a minute after first turning the water on. Not sure what that smell is but it happened with every line I ran.
