SharkBite PE-RT pipe provides excellent toughness and durability for surviving jobsite installations, and is lightweight for easy transport. Faster installation compared to rigid pipe. Flexibility to bend pipe around corners. Available in coils for longer runs and fewer connections – reducing cost, time and potential leak points. Freeze resistant tubing can expand slightly if frozen and contract when thawed. Ideal for hot and cold potable plumbing distribution, radiant heating and cooling systems, hydronic piping and distribution, chilled water piping and geothermal ground loops. PE-RT is 100% recyclable and the eco-friendly material uses less energy during production than any other pipe manufacturing process.

Very easy to use and no leaks first time. Just use pipe cutter to mark cut line then use utility knife to clean, straight line. Do not rough the pipe or the edges at the cut. Make a mark about 1" from the cut. The connect will/should push on close to the mark. Just push the SharkBite connector on the pipe.

Main water line repair done by handy man failed miserably. Had to make re-repairs myself. Saw this item on your website that matches K9 closely with my existing pipe. Along with a Sharkbite coupler was able to effect water restoration in little time. It's been over a month since repairs with no issues to date.
