SharkBite 3/4 in. Push-to-Connect Brass Tee Fitting is the fastest way to connect PEX, Copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipe in any combination. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools required. Simply insert the pipe and the teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a watertight seal. Changes can easily be made by rotating the fitting after installation. Removing the fitting is just as fast using a disconnect tool so fittings and valves can be easily changed or reused. Designed with stainless steel gripping teeth for a secure connection, chlorine-resistant O-ring for a long-lasting seal and backed by a 25-year warranty.

We do offer threaded connectors on one side of the fitting and push to connect on the other side of the fitting. We typically do not skip a size on these connectors.         A:  If I understand your question? you have 1" treated Brass, Threaded You need Fittings 1" to 1/2 " with a 1/2 "nipple on one side no thread and then you be able to contact the 1/2 " Sharkbite sincerely Dan P

              I have found the various SharkBite fittings to be really...
              I have found the various SharkBite fittings to be really easy to use. I have now done two projects with them that involved connecting copper to copper, copper to PEX, and PEX to PEX. The SharkBite fittings can handle all of these combinations. They are expensive but they are worth it.

                These work well. Make sure you cut square and deburr inside and out. I find if you put a little soap on the pipe it slides on easier. I mark the pipe at the measured depth they state the pipe is inserted into the fitting so I know it is bottomed out.Now you better be strong if you go to take the back off. Maybe I'm just a weakling but there was a lot of pressure needed to remove them. They are reusable and did not leak after reassembly. Good for those that have problems soldering, and faster, and as per instructions if you are going to attach to soldered piping make sure all soldering is done before you install these as there is plastic/rubber inside. Nice if they mad a union SharkBite. I knocked off one star because of my difficulty removing them, like I said might just be me as I'm getting or am old.
