AnswersYes, there are instructions in the box but it was easier to just watch the video of the installation online. The floors were super easy to install. To shorten the length for your next piece you just score them with a blade and snap them. The pieces are also pretty flexible so we were able to get them in some odd places fairly easily. We installed appx 500 sqfr of flooring in just a couple days.

Can this flooring be installed over existing tile floor? The specs say only concrete and plywood.

AnswerThe Shaw Bristol Envoy 5 x 48 Click lock vinyl plank flooring can be installed over existing tile products with up to a 1/4 inch wide grout joint. If the grout joint width exceeds 1/4 inch, a cementitious patching compound should be used to fill the grout joint to make it smooth with the surface of the tile.

I've installed 90 square feet (six boxes) so far and it's going very well. It's super easy to install, and durable considering that part of the installation process includes hitting it with a rubber mallet. They did a great job with the packaging as well, protecting it from potential shipping damage.
The built in pad is great; it saves you from having to purchase one (of lesser quality) separately. I've opted to install this floor in my basement, using Dricore panels. With that combination, it feels great under stocking feet. Not cold like cement and not plastic like other types of waterproof click flooring.
The only issue I've found with the floor so far is that there appears to be some sort of paint residue along the edges from the manufacturing process. It's barely noticeable and scratches off easily, but it is an unusual "feature".

Received most of my shipment some still have not arrived due to Xmas shipping "who would guess" but have not gotten all installed as tearing up the house at Christmas is a no-no. So working on my layout to see what I will like the best as far an direction, etc. Really like the looks of flooring when put together, installed nicely with good fit. But have in other room and looks great, an no splinters installing as are none (great). All in all is a good buy install is pretty easy a little hard on the back & knees but all good

This wasn't my first LVP project. Compared to less expensive brands, I REALLY like how this came out. The attached pad was perfect for laying on concrete (basement floor). The product was a bit more challenging to cut than thinner brands, but will score and snap. Connections require a tapping block and patience, but it is clear when the pieces are together. Always go back and recheck your row before starting the next, but once in, they stay well.

SHAW BRISTOL DUKE 5 IN. W X 48 IN. L CLICK LOCK VINYL PLANK FLOORING (15.00 SQ. FT./CASE)
I chose this flooring for a room in our basement. My granddaughter started her cosmetic business and she needed a space that can be dressed up for her videos and a space that’s sturdy that can take spillage. They are Versatile and yet These floors are absolutely beautiful, the feel of them are so real it was hard to believe, they gave this area so much Warmth! with each plank laid I was more excited about the finished project. We decided to extent also into the hallway leaving only the bathroom and laundry room floors different. Yes I tested and tested because there will be spills and she has a couple floor mixers and bottle sealers that the acoustical padding will help cushion the sounds. These planks were easy to install and afterwards show up beautifully, the attached acoustical padding is a plus plus! And once they are clicked into place the lines are so tight together you can not see any (gray) spaces. We are still working in her area but I couldn’t have made a better choice. This room can now could become a office, den, bedroom or video space and a lab. We are creating a lab space that will also be used as a space to create her social media sales videos which will be beautiful. I will continue these floors into the other rooms to make the total space cohesive. I’d refer this flooring to anyone. Because of the ease in installing, it’s beauty and warmth the acoustical padding, it’s versatility, the sturdiness not to mention they are water proof! I’ve looked at tiles and other vinyl flooring for three years plus. When you lift one plank, you know immediately you’re holding Quality material! Spills easily wipe up and these floors have been vacuum tested by me!!! water tested and yes our dog Max who’s a super sensitive Maltese poodle, sits in the room now where in before he wouldn’t stay downstairs at all. I think...because of the concrete. I gave this flooring 5 stars, but if the rating was higher it would most certainly be 10! Choosing this flooring you will not be disappointed!

We recently installed another Shaw Click Lock Vinyl Plank Flooring in our kitchen and so we figured we could use some more for our hallway. We enjoy knowing that it is waterproof, woof woof meow meow (pet) proof, kid proof and worry proof. It has a 20-mil wear layer that will help it withstand the constant wear and tear of being in a high traffic area like our hallway. Since this was my second DIY attempt at installing this type of plank flooring, it made it even easier than the first one. I still had to make sure that I started on the left and worked down to my right for EVERY row because of the groves that interlock on the small ends of the planks, just like there is tongue and grooves on the front and back of the planks to help lock them in place. So, if you have to cut them to fit, and need to stagger them when installing, just remember to cut the needed sizes and work from left to right on every row to make it a lot easier on yourself. We love the resiliency and the quietness of the planks because of the attached acoustical pad that provided noise reduction and added comfort when walking on it. My wife likes the wood appearance of the planks, as if we had real wood floors. It is also easier to clean, simply use a dust mop or vacuum to pick up all the fuzz bunnies that roam our home. Luckily, we pulled up the old rug’s years ago, and we have been living with the terrazzo floors, so it was easy to install over the top of them and much nicer to look at. And if you make a mistake it is also easy to undo them, and reposition them in a matter of minutes. We hope to enjoy our new floors for many years to come.

I chose these Shaw Bristol Duke LVP flooring for the scraped wood look and they don’t disappoint. The surface is embossed as though it is real scraped wood. I wish the coloring had a little more variation but it’s still very attractive. The smaller planks do make it easier to install versus wider and longer planks, however, as with pretty much all LVP that I’ve installed, these require an extremely level surface in order to ‘click and lock’ as they’re supposed to. Easy to cut with razor knife or jigsaw. And nice to have rubber underside so underlayment isn’t necessarily required. Overall, really nice product.

I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to update the decor in their home and to add a great appearance to real looking hardwood flooring without the added cost and time consuming of real hard wood flooring. This product has great warranty and great protection to help and withstand todays "abuse" to last and look nice for a long time. Just follow the included instructions on installation or I recommend having professionally installed if any doubts.

This seems like the perfect wood look plank flooring. It is waterproof vinyl so can be used anywhere, the wood pattern is very realistic and attractive, and the backing is a rubber cushion that alleviates both underlayment and foot fatigue. The planks go together very easily (sometimes the clicking together of planks is a chore in itself). The planks cut so easily since they are vinyl and produce no chipped laminate. These planks are not the full 1/4 of a tile so a transition is needed between surfaces, butting would leave a small ridge. If these don't scratch from use they will be my go to plank product for all projects.

Me and my husband ordered 34 boxes and installed these Bristol Envoy Floors in our dining room, kitchen and laundry room with no prior experience, other than watching a couple YouTube videos. The floors turned out absolutely beautiful, they look exactly like the photos! They look like gorgeous, rich, barnwood floors with color variation and I have received so many compliments on them! We have a few boxes left and will be putting them in our basement bathroom. I highly recommend these floors!
