great product, nice look, easy to put up.
The instructions were a bit confusing, but once you start assembly, it was very easy to put up. Be sure to use a rubber mallet and don't hammer too hard to make it fit together or the metal will split.

sturdy canopy
This is a good, solid canopy. I use it as a boat slip cover and have it attached permanently. You MUST attach all frame pieces together with screws or bolts to use it permanently or wind will pull poles apart.

Fell Below My Expectations

I have owned a canopy similar to this before (10x20) but needed to upgrade to something slightly larger for my boat (12x20). The size of this unit is appropriate, but I am dissatisfied with some of the characteristics of this product. First off, there are no eyelets in the front and back of the tarp. This means with a strong wind, it will push it back off the front bars. This seems like a simple thing, but rather important and you would probably agree if you've owned a canopy before. Second, and this one is pretty cool, the feet have anchors where you can attach it to the ground, but the first and second pole of the legs don't permanently attach to each other. There are no holes in pole A and pole B for you to stick a pin in. In other words, if there's a strong wind, your legs will stay in the ground as the upper portion of your canopy goes floating away. This seems like a qualification for the Darwin Awards. I fixed this by drilling holes and putting a bold in myself. Third, in the like 32 spots where they actually do have holes where you can stick a pin to secure pole A to pole B, they only provide you with 4 actual pins. Seriously, this wasn't a mistake, the instructions said my count was correct. This was awesome. So after I ran out of my own bolts, I resorted to using zip ties. Fourth, some of the poles were so tight to put together, that I had to resort to using a 3 lb. sledge hammer. I could hear it laughing at me when I tried to use my rubber mallet. Seriously, this temporary canopy became permanent because these poles will never come apart again. A hack saw will be required to take this down. Fifth, it seems like the tarp is thinner than what was used previously. This is actually an issue for me now that this canopy is now "permanent" (see my comment #4).

Very good product, very well designed

It is designed for a car, boat etc, for vehicles not higher then 6½ '. We have purchased it for a camper trailer - 9' high, so we had to build a 2x6 "pony wall" 30" high. We had to anchor it well to a black top and we are very happy with a result. See the picture

I've Seen Better !

Just received this canopy today and we put it up right away before the rains start again. First off, Quality: Yes, part of the canopy is 2 inch tubing. The metal is real thin gauge and while we were putting the frame together, we found two of the roof support tubes were split. We also found the many of the tubes were out of round and had to be tapped with a rubber mallet so they could be inserted into each other. They do not include any pins to hold the tubes together, so be prepared for the tubes to pull apart when you lift the roof frame up to insert the legs. They sent 4(?) pins to hold 8 legs to the roof structure. They send 8 pins to hold the 8 foot pads onto the legs(?). If your smart, go to the hardware store and buy a few dozen pins to hold the tubing together. And before they say we didn't have enough people, I had 5 people to help hold and lift this in place. Another problem was the top cover: The material is also a thin gauge and it's not big enough to properly fit the roof frame. Sides were okay, but it wasn't long enough to go over the front and back so the Twist Tite tensioning was useless..............definitely not worth the $389.00 !

Went together quicker than 3 hours with 2 people. Some poles lacked proper holes.

The tent is not a 2 inch frame even though...
The tent is not a 2 inch frame even though it says 2 inch steel. All horizontal pipes are 1.5. Only reason I bought was because its advertised as 2 inch. Then shelter logic never even returned my call. King canopy is much cheaper and better. The 1.5 inch pipes make it a lot weaker.

Great shade coverage
It does the job well. Easy to set up. Costomer service was great. It came with heavy duty foot pads that helped bolt legs to my concrete deck. I wasn't aware that all poles were 3ft long, each leg is made up of two pieces same for each pole length between joints. Other disappointment was joints weren't fully welded. I wish the tarp was a little thicker, we'll see how long it last in the Florida sun. All in all a good product for the price.

short some bolts
Apparently parts of the instructions and the hardware packet are for the 12' canopy. I needed to buy 8 2.5" carriage bolts and nuts to set it up. The horizontal bars aren't bolted together. They depend on the tarp to hold them together. In a stiff wind, they could come apart. I suggest self tapping screws to strengthen them. A rubber hammer and a drift are useful to get the swaged joints seated and aligned. I highly recommend anchors much stronger than the 8 flimsy pins they include to hold it down. They're pretty useless. Otherwise, it's quite easy for 1 person to set up. I could have done it alone in under 3 hours if I hadn't had to go buy bolts. I knocked it down 2 stars simply because of the lack of hardware to do it right.

Great Tent

This canopy tent creates good cover from the elements i am using it as a automotive detail area for a car dealership. The assembly was easy maybe 45 minutes with two people. It has held up against the rain and some heavy winds thus far. I fastened it to the blacktop with flush mount rings attached with two foot re bar spikes driven through and strapped it down in six spots it seems very stable.
