A:  I purchased mine a few years ago and they came as a pair. Still work great!

A:  They come in pairs. I use 4 (2 boxes) to make a square and place 3 squares side by side so I can tarp over the stacked wood.

A:  Yes. Some trimming may be needed on some treated 2 x 4's depending on how "wet" they are. I have made several racks with these brackets and they work great and are sturdy.

A:  We split and stack 3-1/2 cords of firewood each year. We have several sets of these brackets. We use fully treated 2"x4" 's for both the horizontal 'base' and the 4 vertical posts when building each rack. A quick sanding - right where the treated 2"x4" 's fit into the brackets (about the last 4" on all four sides) - with a palm sander and 80 grit sandpaper will make them the correct size for a proper fit. Since the treated 2"x4" 's are reused every year, this procedure only has to be done once! These brackets work great and are a real 5 star product! Hope this helps you.

A:  They did for me. I used treated 2x4s because they would be setting directly on the ground and I haven't had any problems. Things slid together easily and I've been very happy with the racks.

A:  Yes, they are great! They work fine with pressure treated 2 x 4.(make sure the wood is not warped) Wish I had more!

A:  Pressure treated lumber may need to be trimmed before using with this bracket kit.

A:  Yes, I would assume that any 2x4's would work whether pressure treated or not. If using in an area that has no concrete i would suggest using 12" concrete pavers under each corner for stability. We have been using for several seasons now and they work great!
