Will these adhere to one & one half inch (1 1/2 ") hollow metal table leg(s)? Thank You !

AnswersI would not recommend them for a hollow leg. I would try to cap the leg and then secure a 1 1/2 inch slider to the cap. It will depend on what the table is sitting on, tile, stone or carpet. Also if this is indoors or outside. If outside I'd want something that screws to this cap since the weather may break down the sticky tape on the sliders.

I probably misused the glides as I used it on the legs of a wooden bed on carpeted floors. They sank into the carpet and made it difficult for the bed to slide. The original legs of the bed frame were more rounded and slide very easily. The difference in performance is noticeable. Liked the fact that it had the adhesive backing making it very easy to position and secure with screws.

The web page said that the glides were good for any surface, but when I received my order the package said that they were for carpeted floors only. We have hardwood floors so I returned them. I gave them a fair rating because they might do ok for carpet. I don't know.

Product was installed using the supplied screws in view of the weight of the furniture that the glides were to handle. I saw reviews prior to purchase and noted comments regarding "weak" screws which I have to interpret as trying to install the screws on hardwood legs without first drilling pilot holes. I can envision switching to larger (#8) screws or longer screws in when the legs are particularly soft or when holes from prior glide usage are present, but not as a routine need. The glides work well on tile and oak hardwood floors as was indicated.
