I just installed these casters on a portable work bench that I built this past weekend. The casters were just what was needed and worked out really well. They are made in China and the quality is not bad as far as I can tell at this point. They operate very smoothly and are just the right height and size to move projects around with ease and go over things such as extension cords, scrap wood and things that may be laying around during the project. I use this table for projects and wheel it outside my garage to minimize debris and dust when needed. They attach with 4 wood screws. I recommend using washers. The price was very reasonably priced for what they are and they are in stock at the store. Overall, I am pleased with this product.

Excellent caster. Very wide screw base, very stable once installed. Wheel turn freely without any resistance, as does the swivel motion. The wheel itself it quite sturdy, ran it around the garage a few times and it cleaned up good. Make sure to check the measurements the screw base against your project, as they are wider than I though, but it worked out for me.

Used this sturdy caster to build a frame under my 18 cu ft freezer. So far, it is working great during my short trial period. The 4 inch wheel is easier to move full weight without difficult. My freezer does not touch the 250 pound weight limits for each wheel so I cannot comment on larger loads. I have tried 2” wheels on smaller fridge but they don’t roll as well. Likes- wheel size, non-marking, quality of bearings Dislikes- lower lb limit,

Even though this caster is advertised to support 250lbs, I used this caster for items that weighed a lot less than the max load. I mainly used this as a dolly for some of my equipment and It worked well. I used 5/16" hex bolts and nuts to secure the casters to my work piece(plywood and mdf). There is a smooth/controlled movement along the surfaces so I was happy(I used this inside due to it's non marring rubber wheels). I have no complaints so far The wheel was well constructed, the nut attached to the wheel has been sturdy for me and have not had to tighten it for any reason as of yet

If you need to add or replace five inch caster wheel, this is a good choice at a great price from Home Depot. The thermoplastic rubber tread wheels provide quiet operation and smooth rolling. Engineered for unsurpassed durability and reliability, resistant to chemicals, acids, bases and alcohols and salt. Perfect for a variety of applications and uses like, food service, retail display, institutional, hospitals, schools, restaurants, warehouses, shop floors, industrial and manufacturing environments. I will use this caster for my workshop cart at home with its' 250 lb. load rating per caster and 3.62 in. x 2.87 in. swivel plate adding 5 in. total height.

Seems to be decent enough. I only have one caster and since at least three are needed to build a platform and test them out, so I can only give my impression and not my actual use opinion. For some reason Home Depot will not sell me any more at this time. Sorry. The rubber used for the wheel is soft and I would have no issue with using it on my wood floors. The swivel and the wheel both spin freely and smoothly. The metal construction seems to be well done with the wheel attached using a keyed bolt and a lock nut. My concern about this caster is how the weight of your project is transfered to the wheel. The plastic dust cover looking sides are actually bushings that slide into a sealed bearing inside the wheel. The bolt that the bushings transfers the load to is much smaller than the plastic bushing hole---meaning very little surface contact. Will this lead to cracking in future? I don't know. If you're on a concrete floor I'd go with the iron wheeled casters because of this.

Very good wheels that do the job well. I have a couple swivel and a couple rigid wheels on a homemade platform for some shop equipment that needs to be moved around. They did install quickly and do seem extremely strong. The TPR wheels are great, strong and quiet. They are not soft at all but not hard as a rock so do not skip. There is no brake on the swivel so I docked it a star and gave 4 out of 5.

I received my 4 inch thermoplastic swivel caster today. It has a 250 lb. load rating so when I build my tool cart it will be able to handle approximately 1000 lbs. (4 wheels). The caster mounting plate is 3 5/8 in. x 2 7/8 in. rigid mounting plate and is 5 in. total height. The 4 mounting holes are sized for a 1/4 inch mounting bolts. The caster is free rolling with no friction at all, this may change under load. The swivel ball bearings are exposed and could cause problems in heavy wash down environments. The caster is also available with a foot applied brake. That would have been a better selection for a tool cart. This caster looks like an a good product and should work fine for my application. I will know more when I put it in service.

This wheel looks and feels great when new. Only time will tell if it stands up. I am trying several different materials in the hope of finding which will provide the best long term service around my woodworking shop. I do note that there is some left to right movement - myabe 1/32". Only problem I can see with this would be collecting thing like dog hair over time
