Jay. thank you for your question. We do offer this caster with a rigid mount. Our product number is 9389. If you local Home Depot doesn't carry it, you can always go to their Pro Desk and have them call us to do a special order of the product.

is load rating per wheel? so if you had 4 total would be 2000 lbs?

Replace a set of 350 lb rated casters with these....

Replace a set of 350 lb rated casters with these. The 350 lb casters were crushed, while these do not show any signs of deformity. Additionally, I am now able to push my rack around with ease.

The Shepherd 5 in. poly wheel 360* swivel slate caster gives mobility to safely move heavy loads on smooth hard surfaces such as cement and finished concrete floors. It has a 500 lb. load rating and the wheel is non-marking, waterproof and chemical resistant. This wheel works very well for toolbox and rolling carts and makes a great heavy duty dolly.

The opportunity to participate in this program is truly a pleasure and I am enjoying the experience of finding out about products that I may have missed even with the hours and hours I have spent in the McDonough and Fayetteville Home Depot stores. As case in point are the 6 in. Poly Rigid Caster with 550 lb. Load Rating. I got two of them to attach to frame I made for a generator that I use on my property. I built the frame to make it much easier to move the generator instead of going to get my two wheeler each time. It works just like I hoped it would.
