This brown heavy-duty door stop holds doors open and features non-marking rubber material to help prevent marks and scratches on the floor. Q:will this item hold a door on concrete?

A:  Haven't tried it on concrete, but works on tile, so I assume so.

    A:  Thank you for your interest in a Shepherd Hardware product! This rubber door stop will work on a concrete surface due to the excellent grip strength of the rubber material. It will work with a door that has up to 1 1/4" gap between the door and the floor/ground surface. - Jenn

          Waste of Money
          I have a metal front door with self-closing hinges in my condominium. This door stop slides on my tile floor and does not hold my front door open. A total waste of money. Too much trouble to try and return for just a couple of bucks. You'd be better off spending a few more dollars on a real heavy-duty door stop elsewhere.
