It is only possible if your load center label lists the Type QPF GCI breaker as approved. Otherwise you will be voiding UL in addition to possible fit issues. If the QPF is listed on the label then QF115A is the one pole 15A version you need. If you are uncertain of approval status please submit the load center catalog number so we can advise further.
You would need a 2 pole breaker for a 240V load. Breaker sizing and conductor selection would be per the NEC. Please check your load center for approved breaker types and consult with a licensed electrician.
Yes, the panel label lists EQ-P & EQ-T breakers. The designation of circuit breaker types changed in the the late 1970’s when series ratings were introduced. Before that time ITE manufactured breakers that were identified as EQ-P or EQ-T. In approximately 1976 these designations were changed to circuit breaker Types QP and QT respectively, by dropping the E. Types QP and QT can be used in equipment that have the earlier ITE Types designated on the interior label or marking of the equipment. Note the Westinghouse breaker is not UL approved for this panel.
If servicing a TT30R receptacle a single pole breaker would be used as it is a 120V receptacle. Please consult with a licensed electrician.
Assembled in Mexico
Yes, it will. There is no functional difference and there is now a UL substitution letter allowing for use of the Siemens QP in place of Murray MP-T. A copy of the letter has been posted to the community forum and will be visible upon approval.
An image of the UL letter authorizing substitution of Siemens for Murray breakers has been placed in the community forum. It may take up to 24 hours to appear. You may also request a copy at productselection.us@siemens.com.
Yes, #14 through #6 AWG wire is accepted.
We cannot advise. Please check with Eaton for a list of approved breakers for your Cutler Hammer panel.
The "F" in the catalog number was an indication of "Full Size Breakers Only". The Q1515U would not fit and the Q1515NC would not be approved.
