The new Siemens ES Series Load Center is the smart choice when value and quick installation are of highest priority. The ES Series load centers include labor saving features such as the patented Insta-wire and mounting trim tabs. - A single phase, 120/240-Volt, 200 Amp main breaker load center with 8-spaces/16-circuits
- Aluminum bus
- Ground bar field installed
- Combination head screws on neutrals, ground, trim, upper pan and bond screw provide installation flexibility
- Single side inboard neutral
- All ES series load centers allow the main breaker to be converted to main lug, but not vice versa
- Mounting tabs on the trim hold it in place on the load center, freeing up both hands to drive the trim screws
- Pre-positioned bond screw eliminated bond straps/screw assemblies and reduces the risk of losing components in the field
- Insta-wire neutral/ground system allows for faster installation because screws arrive backed out, ready for wire insertion, the visible neutral and grounds systems also aids in the insertion of conductors
- Rigid, sturdy base pan provides ruggedness required for harsh applications
- NEMA type 3: enclosure is intended for outdoor use primarily to provide a degree of protection against falling rain and sleet and must remain undamaged by the formation or ice on the enclosure; they are not intended to provide protection against conditions such as dust, internal condensation or internal icing

Does this panel come with inner panel steel cover or just outside cover?

AnswersAs long as you are aware of the intended use and limitations (Specs) of this Load Center, I'm not aware of any National Codes prohibiting that. That's not to say that there may be local codes to that effect. The simplest answer is always check with your local building inspector / code enforcement official, as they are always the "Final Authority".
Can this be used as a service disconnect on a home? Is the 200-Amp breaker service rated?

AnswersAs far as I'm aware, "Main Breakers" are "Service Rated". That doesn't mean that any or all say 200 Amp breakers are necessarily 'Service Rated', but certainly any load center with a 'Main Breaker' installed and identified as such, should be service rated. That's what they are for.
Can this particular load center be inverted?

AnswerNo, we apologize. That note should be removed for SW0816B1200T as it has a Type 3R enclosure and, therefore, cannot be inverted.
