Perfect for those small applications
Easy to use, smooth and seems to hold up very well. This is my first time using this particular product, so I would say compared to other brands I've used this one's great.

    So far pretty darn good
I had a crack in the concrete of the walkway in front of my apartment door. I like cracks in concrete. To me that seems natural. But ANTS! Why can't I escape ants using my dwelling spaces for their dwelling spaces? Oh yeah, because, ants. All over the cracks they create piles of ant-excavated debris on my clean flat concrete surfaces. Well, A) I'm a tidy meister, and B) I'm concerned the ants are excavating cavities beneath the concrete which maybe could lead to bigger cracks? I don't really know. CONFESSION: this was my first concrete crack repair. I'm not an expert on anything except fisheries science techniques. I just googled "concrete crack repair" and a product popped up. Home Depot computer said they had it in stock. I rode my bike three miles to the store and they didn't have it available so I picked what seemed like the next best thing which was this Sikacryl Sika PRO SELECT Ready-Mix Concrete Patch. Conditions seemed ideal at 84 degrees Fahrenheit and 33% relative humidity. The tub I purchased yesterday had an expiration date of 02/04/22 which made it seem very fresh and the tub felt soft all around. I used a putty knife to apply the patch. The product looked nice and felt easy to work with and had no unpleasant odor. My putty knife cleaned up all the way. The patch is not the exact same color as the concrete because that's not a thing. I finished patching around 3pm yesterday and this morning at 8:30 am I sanded it and hosed it off and it looks like the picture I provided. Again, I was probably using this in ideal conditions.

This patch was easy to apply, but does not hold up. The container says to make sure it is allowed to cure for 24 hours, without the threat of rain. I checked the forecast, and installed this product on my driveway and sidewalk cracks with a daytime temperature of 70 F. The product looked and felt very solid after only about 6 hours. 72 hours later, we had rain. All the crack repair along my garage roof drip line washed away. The repair on my sidewalk crack, which was rock hard solid soon after application, is now a chalking mushy texture where rain puddled. Other driveway cracks where rain could run off still look good. I would not recommend this product for any slightly flat areas of concrete which might not drain well. Time will tell if the crack repairs on the more slanted parts of the driveway and sidewalk will hold up. I spent about $200 total on this product, only to discover it did not meet expectations. Still debating on whether to ask for a refund from Home Depot.

We are sorry to hear this. This product should be applied at no more than 1/4" per lift. A thicker application will extend the curing time. SikaRetail

      expensive junk for patching cocrete
This stuff is junk. I would never buy it again. I put on 4 days ago and it still hasn't dried. Has the text of marshmallow. Not only that but it cracks. Use the mix it yourself stuff and you will be happier and save 2/3s the money.

Hello and thank you for being a Sika customer. We are sorry about this issue. As mentioned before, there are many different shades of gray in the concrete industry. This is due because of aggregates, they are different through the United States. Sika has picked a gray that will match with most applications. Concrete is usually weathered as well, so matching the color exactly will always be very difficult. From the pictures you have attached, your concrete driveway is a tan/beige color. Sikacryl Concrete Patch is a product which is ready to be applied, the color is seen before it is applied. The gray color will not change over time. To have uniform color, you can try painting the product. SikaRetail
