Product Details

Sikacryl PowerSet is a specially formulated two-part polyester mortar designed to cure quickly for the repair of cementitious and masonry substrates. Two components automatically mix in the nozzle for easy application. Ideal for re-pointing repair on masonry structures and for minor repairs to vertical and horizontal surfaces.

    A:  Kathy, as long as the bird bath is dry when the application is done and then the PowerSet is allowed to fully cure before being subject to water then it should be okay.

      A:  Bert, we do not recommend allowing any of our sealants to come in contact with solvents while curing.

        A:  KnarfEK, Sika PowerSet Gap Filler is intended for repointing repairs. If for some reason you need to remove the product in the future once it has fully cured, you can do so mechanically.

          A:  Not at all, though, if you cut the crack deep enough with a masonry blade, blow-out thoroughly and point while the mixing tip is expelling dark gray material there should be no later repointing.

            Product gets Clogged
            Would not buy this again! Product gets clogged in the applicator tube. Worked for a bit and then clogged, switched nozzles and within a few minutes this one is also clogged. You could not squeeze any product out. Waste of time and effort!
