We took our new house’s kitchen down to the studs. We decided to use this product on the ceiling. My brother, who is is a construction professional, has had nothing but issues installing these planks.
First, the quality control on these is abysmal. There are knots that make board almost useless. Warping. The groove of the boards is so rough that getting them to fit is a grudge fest between human and nature.
Also, beware of the actual sizing of the board. It is not 1x6.
The product gets 2 stars because it does look good when it’s up. However, IMO, not worth the money or the frustration of installation.

It was relatively easy to install with a nail gun. I wasn't successful with a hammer. The wood is soft and some boards may warp somewhat as you let it get accustomed to room. However, the tongue and groove straightens most of the warped boards when installing. Even though it comes with a nice whitewash, i enjoy it with white semi gloss paint.
