Is the swivel part silver or black? There are two different pictures one with silver and one with black area attaching the lights to the pole.
The silver one is silver and the black one is black.

Hello Sumit! Thanks for reaching out! Each of the three sockets on the lamp are 60 watts max. We recommend using a 60 watt equivalent E26 base and A19 shape bulb in each lamp head.
I just put my lamp together and the instructions say to use only a '60W Type A medium base' bulb. I can't find any 'type A' bulbs--where are they sold so I can operate the lamp? I have been searching the internet for them with no luck.
Hello Confused! Thanks for reaching out. The Type-A bulbs that are recommended are A19 (this refers the overall shape of the bulb) and E26 Medium Type (which refers to the base of the bulb.) A19 E26 bulbs are fairly common. You can find an example of the bulbs by searching for #304116329 on Home Depot's website.
Does this light allow to use 1 instead of both. I need this feature for when I put my birds to bed they have a low light so they are more comfortable. I have 7 baby finches and 2 keets. I really hope this can be done ?

For the brushed nickel lamp...are the connector pieces attaching the lights to the pole also brushed nickel? I see photos that look like nickel and other where the connectors look black. Thanks.
I have two of these lamps purchased a couple of years apart and both have brushed nickel connectors.

Can you use dimmable bulbs in this lamp?
Thanks for reaching out. This lamp does not have a built in dimmable feature but if you're able to use a smart bulb for this feature it must be the compatible base type and wattage. This lamp takes a 60W E26 medium base bulb.
