24 oz. All Wheel and Tire Cleaner

The bottle and sprayer for this product are nicely designed to allow use without dripping or spill. The bottle balances well in your hand so that all wheels on the vehicle can be treated without tiring you out. The wheels and tires were sprayed with the product and the wheel spokes lightly brushed to get out the brake dust and road grease. Then the wheels and tires were sprayed with water from the hose. This eliminated the grime from the wheels and made the tires shine like new. See the pics.

This stuff really seems to do the trick. One of my vehicles really builds up with break dust on a weekly basis. I usually have to run it through our car wash twice to get our rims and wheels clean. I sprayed this on the other day before pulling in and it made all the difference. I did not have to do any additional cleaning after exiting the car wash.

The Simple Green 24 oz. All Wheel and Tire Cleaner works well on wheels (rims) as an easy-to-use application for dirty wheels. Mine are alloy types with plenty of hard to reach areas. I followed the directions and applied the cleaner to my dry wheels and waited two minutes before spraying it off. The wheels came clean with no additional work. It comes out of the bottle as foam, and I wouldn't bother using it on the tires. The foam gets into wheel crevices but the tire requires several sprays to cover completely. Save the foam for the hard-to-reach-areas. It's a wheel cleaner winner.

This is a great tire and wheel cleaner. But keep in mind my tires did not have mud or stuff on them yet. All I did was while washing car I sprayed my wheels and tires with the Simple Green and when I finished washing my car I just rinsed the tire and wheel cleaner off. This cleaner did a great job. This product needs for you to try it Good for me.

I've been using Simple Green forever on my tires and wheels so to find out that they've designed a solution just for what I need is great! Came nicely packaged. This solution is very high quality and I absolutely love it! Pair this with a good quality brush and you can make quick work of your tires and wheels. Highly recommend for the car enthusiast!

I am reviewing Simple Green All Wheel and Tire Cleaner. It came in a 24 fl oz bottle with a sprayer trigger at the top. At first I was skeptical as previously all the sprayer bottles of this sort were either difficult to operate or else were unreliable by breaking fast and going off to the trash. However, this sprayer proved to be surprisingly easy to operate right from the start; all you have to do is to open the cover sideways as pictured. With the sprayer facing you, the hinge is on the right side. It was easy to position it to either spray or stream; I have used spray, my favorite setting. I have used the Simple Green on the alloy wheels with inserts of my snap orange Volkswagen New Beetle. Prior to application, the wheels were cool and dry. I really hesitated to use this cleaner at first as I was concerned that it might damage my alloy wheels. So I followed the instructions and first carefully tested it on a hidden area; this proved safe. Once done with that, I went on to work. I first rinsed the wheels with water and helped with a wheel brush, wiped dry with a microfiber rag, allowed plenty of time to dry up even more, and then used Simple Green. I let this sit for a couple of minutes and then rinsed the wheels with water and wiped dry with a microfiber rag. This last step really added more shine to the wheels. This didn't really take much time at all and I am pleased with the results, particularly with the fact that I was able to do all this DIY by myself. Now my wheels look fantastic! The Simple Green did a terrific job and didn't damage the wheels surface. It didn't leave any residue, all the brake dust is gone and the wheels are shining bright. Simple Green website provides SDS or Safety Data Sheets about this cleaner in pdf format. This product is recommended to be used as both cleaner and degreaser, with restriction stated to not use on non-rinsable surfaces. It is not classified as hazardous and in fact was meant to be a safer alternative to the traditional toxic chemicals. It has to be kept away from the sunlight which is not a problem as my Bug is parked inside a garage. This cleaner was made in USA and the bottle is recyclable. Great product, I highly recommend it!

It smells like detergent and water. I applied this to my very dirty wheels without rubbing. Usually these chemicals help dissolve some dirt themselves. After spraying and waiting 2 minutes (as in the instructions), we rinsed the wheel but it did not clean at all. Tried again but no better results. You can check the pictures, I touched my finger after the cleaning to show you how dirty still the wheel is.

Simple Green All Wheel and Tire cleaner is very effective. I wanted to try a wheel and tire cleaner from Simple Green because I have been using regular full strength Simple Green for cleaning my wheels and tires. I was surprised at the effectiveness of Simple Green All Wheel and Tire cleaner compared to regular Simple Green which works very well. I first cleaned a heavily soiled clear coated aluminum wheel using the product applied directly to the dry wheel at full strength. After a couple of minutes the wheel was lightly brushed to loosen the bound soil which was easily loosened with little effort and sprayed off with clear water left to air dry. Another wheel was cleaned too, albeit not very dirty due to being garage kept. Since Simple Green All Wheel and Tire cleaner is so effective (a high strength cleaner) the second wheel was first sprayed with clear water to help dilute the product when applied directly from the spray bottle. About three ounces of product was used to clean the heavily soiled wheel and about one ounce of product was used to clean the less soiled wheel. One 24 ounce bottle should clean between 8 and 24 wheels depending on the amount of soil. See the before and after photos to see the effectiveness of Simple Green All Wheel and Tire cleaner.

I love simple green products and feel good when I use them. Since this has been available I have used it. It cleans and cuts the grease and grime off the rims pretty fast. The brake dust just kind of melts off. It has not damaged my chrome in any way. Its biodegradable so I feel better using it while cleaning the car. Just my little part for the environment

Product performed ok for this application.
