M22x14mm typical connector for pressure washers at this level.

This Pressure washer is reliable to use for one day consecutive(6 hours of USE)

Absolutely YES. I have owned my MegaShot for a couple of years now. It is not a "Commercial" machine, however I regularly use it for hours at a time, shutting it down only long enough to refuel & check oil. 6 hours run is no problem.

is it easy to remove the wheels and top bar part to make it more compact?

The top handle is very easy to remove and requires no tools to do so. Mine has a couple of knobs that you undo and pull out the bolts and lift off the handle. I can turn the handle around and reassemble it for a compact storage unit. The wheels can be easily removed but required removing the clips that hold on the wheels. I can remove the clips with my screwdriver. Putting the clips back on is a little more difficult but easily done with a pair of needle-nose pliers. Hope this helps.

Does this have a soap container built in?

Asked by NinjaX September 15, 2020

Answers

No. But it does have a soap siphon. I actually have attached an old ratchet wrench extension to the siphon hose and drop it directly into the concentrated cleaner gallon container and then place the container into my 5 gallon Home Depot bucket. Works great and no tip-over mess.

What is the spray distance?

Asked by SteveS September 11, 2020

Answers

Spray distance depends on the tip/spray nozzle you attach to the wand, and the angle of use. Pressure washers are not designed for distance, their purpose is to increase "Pressure" of the water to the work surface. For best results, move the unit closer to the job, because PSI is lost over distance. Hope this helps.

does this model have a downstream injector so bleach can be used that does not run thru the pump

Asked by joe September 7, 2020

Answers

The pick-up for the chemical injection is on the outlet side of the pump but the manual states "Do Not Use Bleach". From a personal viewpoint, I actually use my pump-up sprayer for applying my cleaner to the surface rather than the injector. Hope this helps!

Mine worked great the first time i winterized it. Last year the pump guard wouldn't go through to the outlet. I ended up starting the pump briefly while the bottle was hooked up. That did the trick. I'm talking for just a second or two.

Pump pin hole problem

After one year of use (5 hours run time), the pump housing developed pin holes and all the pressure escapes. Tried to resolve this obvious manufacturing failure with Simpson but the pump is only under warranty for one year. Noticed that this is a recurring problem with other reviews on the Simpson website. Buyer beware - this is a disposable pressure washer - you'll need another one every year. Simpson refused to post my review - I don't think they want this manufacturing failure to come to light.

Easy to use
Customer review from simpsoncleaning.com logo
So far so good. This is my first pressure washer so I’m still getting used to it. I did some cleans on my some of my fence and it worked very well. I also used it with floor accessory to clean my driveway and side walk. As a first timer it took me sometime to figure out how to start it and keep it going, but I think I’m doing fine now that I overcame that.

Great little machine
Customer review from simpsoncleaning.com logo
Bought this a few months ago and used it to power wash my deck. I can't get over how well it worked. We were talking about redoing the entire deck, thank god we didn't! It looks brand new. We did replace the railings though.

Great Pressure Washer Residential Use
Customer review from simpsoncleaning.com logo
I've bought this pressure washer about a month ago and have used to two or three times. It's all the power I need for residential use. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that if you pull the choke all the way out then it will not start, but will start on second pull if choke is pulled 3/4 of way out. It will start on first pull once engine is warmed up. Does not leak on any of the water connections. Use pump saver everytime so no problem with pump as of yet. I would recommend. Make sure not to run engine for more than a few minutes while not spraying water otherwise it will run hot. I added a longer spray nozzle to operate surface cleaner without bending back.

Compact well built machine
Customer review from simpsoncleaning.com logo
Enjoying my Simpson power washer with the Honda engine. Excellent power and cleaning capabilities. My only criticism is the low handle which makes it a little difficult for taller people. I like that the handle can be removed for easy off season storage

Worked as expected with one exception
Customer review from simpsoncleaning.com logo
Very happy with pressure washer so far. Started on second pull most of the time. The water hose attachment (#1 in the photo) is cumbersome to attach to say the least. I had to purchase a hose extender in order to attach the hose in a timely and efficient manner.

I really wanted to be in love with this product. I read all the reviews and was apprehensive when I saw a "Feature" was that it was "Reconditioned" but figured I would go for it. The delivery was great, no problems with oily boxes or shipping damage. The hose, as noted in many reviews, leaves much to be desired. Otherwise, I used the machine for about three hours washing down my house and deck and was very happy. I loved the pneumatic tires out in the dirt yard around the house. So why 2 stars - what I found on the garage floor a couple days later. Oil drops on the floor in two locations. I rolled the unit back a foot to make sure it was the source (see photo) - it was. I suspect this is a main seal leak. I could tear the unit down to check it out and, possibly, replace the seal - but why should I have to do that. It's a new pressure washer - not a vintage Jaguar. Now, I guess I get to try the returns dance with Home Depot.
