AnswerJamesjr, this will not pull directly from a water tank. You would need to add a supply pump between the tank outlet and the pump inlet to operate of of a tank.

AnswerDavid, the soap hose and filter connects to the brass hose barb located just prior to the high pressure outlet on the pump where you connect your high pressure hose.
