Would these be good to fasten a swing set to concrete or would the swinging motion work them loose over time ???

we do not have any products we can refer to for swing set applications as our products have not been evaluated with regards to the forces that a swing may put on them. Thank you!

What size masonary bit do you use for these??
Asked by: jeff
I use a 1/4” masonry drill bit in a rotary hammer drill. Drill deeper than the length of the anchor if required. Vacuum out the concrete dust. I used these to set 1” Trex/ pressure treated wood on concrete. Once hammered in, they are in! Really good anchors!!

how far do you drill down on this size

how far do you drill down on this size
Asked by: kathy
I drill down so the total length available is greater than 3", say 3.25". If drilling through a pressure treated 2x4", then the hole length in the concrete floor would be 1.75"-ish.

Can these be used to secure walls to a basement concrete floor?
Asked by: Richard
Please consult the Designer/Engineer of Record as there are many factors it would depend on (i.e. is it structural or non-structural, is the sill plate chemically treated or not, local building codes, etc.). Thank you!
