I know it's 5 lbs but any idea approx how many are in the box? It's about 35 miles each way to nearest store and I normally over purchase (running out of room from previous builds).

Which screw can be used instead of this connector nail? I'm attaching an SUL26Z Skewed left joist hanger to a 2" x 8" x 16" pressure pine treated joist.

The nails are 10 penny by 1-1/2". A #8 screw 1-1/2" could be used instead of the nail. Look for pan head instead of flat head (like drywall or deck screws). The screw heads will lay flat against the bracket.
