This will be a slow way to install roofing nails, but it will work and gives you very good control of the nail depth.

Which screw can be used instead of this connector nail? I'm attaching an SUL26Z Skewed left joist...

The nails are 10 penny by 1-1/2". A #8 screw 1-1/2" could be used instead of the nail. Look for pan head instead of flat head (like drywall or deck screws). The screw heads will lay flat against the bracket.

I need "joist hanger" nails. Are these them?
