This, SINGLE-HANDLE 1-SPRAY TUB AND SHOWER FAUCET IN CHROME (VALVE NOT INCLUDED) came and all was ready to be installed. If you are a DIY’er, you need a 6in and 1 1/4in hole saw. All the instructions are clear and easy to read and understand. There aren’t any templates so be prepared to double-check your measurements. If you follow the instructions, you’ll be a happy camper. The parts are very bright and so they should shine for a long time.
For the most part, it is fairly easy to install.

This is a nice simple shower and tub faucet and spray head kit. One thing I found strange is it says that it doesn’t come with a valve, but when I opened box to check for all the parts, it doesn’t need a valve to operate properly. It has seats and springs behind the ball valve. Installation was easy only because I have installed close to 100 shower valve assemblies in my life. Unless you are a very handy person and more than familiar with plumbing, I would recommend hiring a plumber or at least a handyman. I used the Apollo crimp tool to install the plumbing lines required. I find it to be easier to crimps shark bite lines this way and more reliable. I installed this particular faucet into my neighbors mom’s bathroom. Turning her tub only into a shower/bathtub. Her husband passed a few months back and trying to help her cope. They were married almost 50yrs. Very nice family. Her son, my friend is a teacher and doesn’t get paid well as we all know teachers are under appreciated and under paid. So I’ve been doing the install in my free time so it’s pro bono labor and parts. She is very happy and now wants me to remove her bathtub and install a new walk-in style bathtub. I only gave 4 stars as there is nothing special about this set up.

We are doing a remodel on a guest bathroom and this tub and shower faucet kit is going to look great .They are very simple to install and the end results are total transformation if you are looking for a simple and easy way to change the appearance of you bath tub and shower this is the way to go it will brighten up any bathroom I highly recommend this kit for quality and appearance

The Homeworks single-handle 1-spray tub and shower faucet is very stylish and well made for the price.
I purchased mine with the chrome finish. I really needed updated faucets and this one looks great in the new basement shower. The shower flow head delivers 1.8 gpm flow rate and helps reduce water use while still providing good water pressure. For the budget minded consumer this is the tub and shower faucet to buy. This set is the standard installation for those who have experience with tub valves. I also recommend using Shark Bites for quick and easier install. The instructions are well illustrated and easy to follow. The only thing I did not like was that the 1/2 shower head connecting rod is plastic. If your not careful and over tighten. It can easily crack.

Homewerks Chrome Single Handle tub and Shower Faucet Kit is a well made and very shiny bathroom set. This kit is not for just changing out your handle, spout and shower assembly but rather for a remodel as you must install the mixer component behind the finished wall. The mixer is made of brass and has 4 female ports into which the hot and cold water supply and spout and shower are attached by taping and screwing male plastic piping into the ports. The mixer is complete except for the crystal knob. The knob has an emblem for hot, cold, on ,off selections that you remove to attach it to the mixer with a screw. The emblem plugs into the crystal knob and must be removed to screw it to the mixer. The easiest way to remove the emblem is to insert the end of a food thermometer or other thin probe into the back of the crystal knob and push it out. Screw it to the mixer and pop the emblem back in loosely so that you can position the knob so the on, off, etc. are in the right place. Basic plumber tools are required and listed on the instructions.

While this is not an expensive tub set, it is more than affordable and fairly attractive. I chose this for my lake house, so I was looking for value. It was easily installed as I was replacing one that wasn't working properly and didn't need to the plumbing. It's a quick and easy way to freshen up your bathroom very inexpensively. The only thing I would change is that I will probably buy and change out the knob.

This is a very simple and economic way to replace your shower body, faucet and shower head. It's plain with a chrome finish and has everything you need, but you will need a diverter value if you don't want to use the pull tab on the tub spout. Overall - if you have a rental or a vacation home where you don't want to put alot of money into something fancy, this will do the job
