Answer This Question
A: Yes 8" x 3/4" stack.. Skil offers they're own 6" stack. Only thing is Skil doesnt offer the dadoo insert kit any longer so you will have to make you own insert. I've made a few for my saw including a zero tolerance insert using hard board and mdf. See photos below.

A: Hello Johninga,
This model does not have fitting for table extensions on both sides. Thank you for your inquiry!

A: I do not believe the table is designed to add additional top extensions. However equally effective is using Home Depot roller stands Model # TB-S200. I bought several and use to cut 4X8 sheets of plywood.

Nice starter saw. Light enough to travel. Big enough to rip sheet stock. With a good 60 tooth blade this saw cuts very well. It does take a dado stack. The stand is solid.
Has a few cons.. fence works but needs your full attention when setting up cut. No dust collection at all (I use a cheap harbour freight bag). And miter slots are 5/8" T slot not standard 1" miter track.
It's a good powerful saw based on a 10" circular saw so no soft start. As is out of the box it will get most jobs knocked out quickly.
Nothing to do with the saw itself but Skil/Bosch no longer is offering the dado insert kit so YOU will have to fabricate your own zero tolerance and dado inserts if you chose. They are not the usual 1/2" or 1/4" variety they are a very thin 1/8" . I used 1/8" hard board and 1/4" MDF laminated together with epoxy then sanded down to match saw top (see pics) . T slot slabs (piece miter gauge is screwed to) are offered by Skil so you can make your own jigs and sleds.

A few of issues with the saw. The throat plate is not level with the rest of the table and not adjustable. The blade height moves when the saw is turned on. A few times the bevel lock would not stay clamped. Used this saw to make kitchen cabinets. The issues mentioned really on an issue making rabbet joints for drawer fronts and bottoms.

Perfect for the small project enthusiast. Attaching the saw to the stand is a breeze. Saw is lightweight, no huffing and puffing to get it on the stand. The stand folds flat for non-intrusive storage while the saw fits easily on a shelf. I chose this one also for the extra wide fence placement capability, the right side of the table extends and locks. Not easy, due to the lite weight of the machine, but I did send through a half sheet of 3/4" plywood, lengthwise, by myself.

I purchased this saw based on a YouTube video recommendation. Since it wasn’t available at my local Home Depot i took advantage of the free shipping and had it delivered to my house. UPS delivered it on schedule and the box arrived in very good condition. Assemble instructions are straight forward and it took about 90 minutes to setup and make slight adjustments to the fence to get it aligned properly. As reviewers have stated, I also ordered a fine-tooth blade, however I found the supplied blade was sufficient for my cutting needs. I ripped several 2X4 and the saw preformed faultlessly. The 15amp motor easily ripped eight-foot-long stock and didn’t bog down. So far I extremely pleased with this buy and would recommend this saw to anyone with a limited budget.

Great Table Saw
This is a great addition to any workshop – after using this to build a media center this weekend, I’m just sad I didn’t spring for a table saw several projects ago.
Out of the box, assembly is relatively easy & straightforward. You will need to allow yourself a few minutes to get it up & running, but it’s not bad at all.
This saw packs plenty of power. I ran a variety of boards through it & it handled them all with ease. I imagine this saw will be more than adequate for any DIY project a homeowner takes on.
The adjustments are all clearly marked and make precise cutting easy, even for beginners. I found the rip fence particularly helpful. I do have one complaint on that though – the handle that locks the rip fence into place curves out at the end (see photo), making it wider than the fence itself. Unless it’s almost completely locked into place (once it’s locked the curved piece sits below the edge of the table), it bumps into whatever you’re lining up to cut, pushing it out by ¼” or so. It’s not a huge deal & it only affects boards that hang over the edge of the table by at least 4 inches, but adjusting the rip fence would be easier for those boards if that handle was flush with the rest of the fence. As it is, you have to account for the width of that curved part of the handle when lining up a cut, or else once you lock it into place you’ll be off by ¼” or so. Other than that, no complaints on the adjustments – it’s a really well thought out design. The rear and side extensions are also great features, making it easy to accommodate large boards.
The blade guard seems a little cumbersome, but I’m sure that’s for safety reasons.
The folding stand is very sturdy & makes it easier to transport and store.
All in all, great saw with an excellent set of features - highly recommend!

Good value
Well-designed machine. The table is slightly warped right to left, but good enough for most jobs. Had to go through the entire process of aligning the blade (it was skewed from the factory). Powerfull, cuts well once aligned. Do not like the slots, they aren't the standard 3/4 inch. Bars fitting these slots should be available as accessories for making jigs.

Powerful and efficient!
This is a terrific, compact saw. I bought this to replace a Craftsman and the difference between the two is noticeable. The unit is powerful and efficient. It's easy to use and the small size means I can get my work done quickly. It was easy to assemble and fits neatly in the corner of my garage.
