I can’t loosen a number of fence screws.
I want to hold off on my final review. The major problem I had was loosening a number of screws so I could move the fence. It just wasn’t possible. One screw head started to lose its groves. I finally gave up. Any help or suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.

Cumbersome but got the job done,
Too hard and cumbersome removing the fence when transitioning from end cuts to rips. My shop vac hose doesn't fit in place of the dust collection bag. Need a larger end(adapter) to fit a standard diameter shop vac. I like the height of the base as a standard 2x4 can be used as a rest for the long pieces. Liked how portable it was.

Used it to install LifeProof 8.7 inch wide luxury vinyl plank flooring DIAGONALLY. Was looking at MUCH more expensive sliding compound miter saws but had trouble finding one at ANY price that could handle cutting an 8.7 inch wide plank at a 45 degree angle, which amounts to a 45 degree 12.25+ inch long cut. As other reviewers mentioned, you definitely want to attach a vac to this unit when operating (I ended up going a step further and detaching the vac hose after each cut to use the same running vac to clean off the cut piece, especially the tongue and grooves, then reattaching the vac to saw). Overall, this unit is priced right, handles cross cutting of wide boards and any angle, and handles ripping. A serious tool for flooring installs. NOTE: as you can see in one of the pics, 8.7 inch wide boards are right at the upper width limit for 45 degree cuts.

Well-built Saw. After reading reviews, I decided to purchase through a website of a large box store. The saw was well packed in spite of extensive shipping damage to the shipping box. I purchased it for a large DIY project to replace 1000+ square feet of hardwood flooring with the expectation of reducing my physical up/down activities (I'm 61). Especially noted that the slide bars don't interfere and permit one to effectively use a measuring tape and line up with the "bombsite" to ensure a precision measured cut. The saw was quieter than my chop saw, had plenty of power and appears to be built for years of service. I also appreciate the location and size of the power switch, which adds to the safe operation. In these days of excessive litigation, I think the built-in safety features should make this a keeper. I approve of this saw.

Finally get what we paid for!
Can do the job of a miter saw and table saw for 3/4" or less thick boards. If you know a little about woodworking it's very accurate. Well guarded and safe design. Even has a clamping mechanism for holding work. Overall design and build quality look great, and tool has about 200hrs of use on it. Dust collector with vac sucks 75-80% of dust. I did have an issue where the clamp separated, and was able to resolve it by adding a washer. Would not hesitate to buy again.
